Quick introductions to horror games such as Dead Space and Resident Evil 4 put an exciting tone from the beginning.
While most horror games begin at a slow pace so that they can facilitate players in the experience and put the mood and tone, not every title within this genre will decide to follow this trend. There are a large number of well -known and high quality horror games that start their adventures by throwing lots of enemies at the player and forcing them to get acquainted with the game's checks and grounds as quickly as possible if they want any chance of survival.

Best stylish horror play on every Playstation console
Playstation has been home to some of the most iconic horror video games in the industry. Here are the best horror games on each Playstation console.
Having a horror play start at a rapid pace allows players to feel immediately submerged in the experience and connect them in just minutes after they press start. Of course, if this is handled poorly, it can ultimately make the introduction a little annoying, but when a developer manages to nail the first hour, it may be all that is needed to encourage players to continue to the end. That being said, there are some of the very best horror titles for those who like to get into the thick of the action as quickly as possible.

Alan Wake
Alan is forced to face the darkness in the first moments of his game
When players upload a new rescue in the first Alan Wake Games, they will take control of the protagonist without any context of the story or even the characters to get off. Instead, the first ten minutes are devoted to letting players know the basics of how gameplay loop works, and more specifically, the importance of using light to interrupt the enemies that have been consumed by darkness.
The beginning of the game sees that players are contrary to the lighthouse for security and take on a handful of enemies on the road with Alan's reliable flashlight. Without any idea what these monstrous freaks are even, and the real danger to the darkness itself, it results in a rather chaotic introduction that also acts as a good guide to getting used to the game's baked mechanics and systems.

M for mature: blood and gore, intense violence, strong language
The beginning of The evil within Seems like a fairly normal day at work for detective Sebastian Castellanos, but when he and his comrades enter a mysterious hospital to investigate a crime scene, they are suddenly attacked by a mysterious hood figure. When Sebastian wakes up in the awesome slaughter factory, players spend the first minutes of the game chased by a Maniacal chainsaw-practicing monster with not a single weapon to defend themselves with.

WB game
Developer Monolith clearly wanted to raise the horror in the sequel to their extremely popular FEAR Games, but there is still a decent dose of action here to keep players on their toes. This becomes evident during the first minutes, which in the timeline, does not take place long before the original game ends, with players who adopt control of a delta squad operative that touches on Aristide's penthouse.
Although the building originally seems to be abandoned, it is not long before enemies start jumping out of the shadows with heavy weapons to take down the player. Of course, there are also some pretty grizzly horror images spread across this opening level that reminds players that Alma is never too far away.

Deadly frame / project zero
Players are barely given at any time to prepare for ghosts waiting for them

T for teenager because of blood and gore, violence
The first Death frame The game does not give players a lot of time to calm their nerves before going up to the ghosts that act as the game's main enemies. In fact, after an intro cutting that only lasts a few seconds, players are wandering around a large and scary abandoned temple, which crawls with ghouls that can only be defeated with the camera obscura.
With a static filter that covers the entire screen and ghosts that walk around in regular views, the entire section feels extremely intense and really the spine to play through. If something, it acts as a test of the players' confidence, because if they can't handle this intro, they will have a pretty tough time to get through the rest of the game, given that it just gets scary from here.

Silent Hill: Homecoming
Homecoming gets players to the action much faster than other games in the series
But most Quiet hill Games start with a slow burn, gradually build up to the fears over time, homecoming makes things a little different. Although there is a very brief opportunity to explore when they take control of Alex, it is only a few minutes before players will take on an iconic enemy in the series, the nurse, who is as dangerous as they were back in Silent Hill 2.

Silent Hill: Scariest versions of Pyramid Head, ranked
From Silent Hill 2 to death with daylight, Pyramid Head's impressive presence has undergone several scary versions.
Since players seem to come into the other world pretty much as soon as they start the game, it means that they have the task of taking on a number of nurses only in the first episode alone. It is another way to open this post in the iconic survival series compared to what came earlier, and unnecessary to say, it is a rather frightening introduction.

Dead Rising 2
Players are free to slice apart hordes of zombies on a motorcycle at the beginning of Dead Rising 2
Dead Rising 2 Waste no time to get players into the action. Just a few minutes into the story, players are free to participate in the Gory Game Show, known as terror, is a reality, where they can tick a larger arena on a motorcycle that has been equipped with a chainsaw at every end. The goal here is to reach the top of the scoreboard by killing as many zombies as possible, and although it may not be so scary of an introduction, it is really an exciting game segment to be a part of.
At the same time, it also does a pretty good job of giving players an idea of who Chuck is actually like a character and how he is willing to do something to make some money to keep his daughter safe. Dead Rising 2 Is one of the games that never lets the foot from the gas, always moves at a fairly rapid pace, but the first episode is a prominent of how suddenly and exciting it is.

No horror playing fan will ever be able to forget the moment they went up to the front door to USG Ishimura in the original Death space. After setting his foot on the giant space station, players get about two to three minutes to get used to their surroundings before the grossly mutated necromorphs make their appearance known.
With freakish monster that bursts through the roof and jumps through the ventilations, Isaac has no choice but to make a run for it and differs from Kendra and Simmons during the process. The rapid pace of Death spaceIntro does an excellent job of conveying how dangerous the necromorphs really are, together with the terrible condition of Ishimura, which has been completely taken over by the time Isaac arrives.

Resident Evil 4
Just as players have a grip on the checks, Leon is heated by an army of ganados
Resident Evil 4 Releasing players in the middle of a chaotic massacre only five minutes into a Playthrough, even though they know they are seriously unprepared for what to meet. After Leon met some infected villagers at the beginning of his rescue mission, he eventually stumbles over a massive horde of weapons-practicing ganado who is all hell bent to take him down for good.
This results in one of the most iconic opening levels in all games, as players are forced to use every last resource they have removed to make it alive, given the astonishing number of enemies that will chase them. In both the original game and the remake, this is a segment that always gets the heart driving, but it is especially surprising on the first playthrough, where it can catch the player surprisingly when they least expect it.
