Scott Pilgrim make an unexpected return in the form of a new co-op-brewler called Scott Pilgrim exwas announced during the summer playing party 2025. The game's revealing trailer teases a time and action -filled experience in the vein of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game.
Created by Canadian caricature drawer Bryan Lee O'Malley, Scott Pilgrim Franchise began with a graphic novel series composed of six volumes released over the same number of years, as of 2004. The main story follows the title Scott Pilgrim, a carefree 23-year-old bassist who falls for the mysterious Ramona flowers and needs to fight against her seven evil exes for a chance to be with her. In 2010 the series received a film adaptation called Scott Pilgrim vs. The WorldWhich in turn got a customization of video games. While none of them were massive commercial hits, they were both largely positive reviews and collected cults.

The game's SGF 2025 trailer promises seven playable characters, five of which are previously rivals. Scott Pilgrim ex takes place after the events in Netflix Scott Pilgrim takes off Anime, with Showrunner Bendavid Grabinski – who acts as a creative consultant for the new project – confirms equally in a statement to Polygon.

While the whole game will be playable solo, it will also offer a co-op mode for up to four players. Split-Screen Multiplayer will also be part of the package, although the game's local player limit has not yet been officially confirmed.

The game is scheduled to arrive at PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC.
