The good Valley incident is still talked about in broken tones around the world since this event and the island where it took place has been triggered from the annals of history by the world government. The basic installation is that 38 years before history began, Celestial Dragons held its triennial native hunting competition on the island of God Valley. Here they had stolen the secret tax in Hachinosu that would be given away as one of the prizes to the winners of the competition.
Because of this, Rocks Pirates invaded the island during the event to regain its mysterious treasure, which then caused Roger Pirates to arrive also because of Roger's rivalry with the legendary cliffs D. Xebec. After hearing about Roger's departure to the island, Garp and a contingent of his marine soldiers on their way there as well, where many battles took place between some of the strongest and most important characters in history, although the exact details are currently a mystery.

Luffy and Koby are intended to cooperate against BlackBeard.
As mentioned earlier, inherited will undoubtedly be the single most important concept throughout A bit Story because it has shaped the ambitions from not only Luffy, but many other incredibly important characters. In Luffy's case, however, his desire to become the Pirate King has been his lifelong goal because of his desire for freedom, although this is something that was dreamed first by Joyboy and then by Gol D. Roger.
As such, the inherited Will can also be seen in BlackBeard, which many fans believe will be the ultimate villain of the series even after IMU. Although BlackBeard wants practically exactly the same thing as Luffy, ODA has very consciously etched his way to do so, which shows that he is the mirror opposite the main character and has the same goal but with a completely different way to achieve it. Blackbeard has inherited the mysterious cliffs D. Xebec's will, as these two are the only characters ever wanted to be 'King of the World'.

Koby, on the other hand, had always dreamed of becoming a navy and standing out within the Navy's rank. Because of his ambitions, he was taken under the wing of the legendary hero, Monkey D. Garp, who wanted a real disciple to continue his legacy, given that his son and grandchildren both went in the opposite direction. This shows that Koby has inherited Garp's will.
Given Luffy, BlackBeard and Koby, it is quite obvious that ODA plans to show the most important Battle of God Valley in modern times. Of course, this refers to the fight that led to the cliffs D. Xebec killing, because he met his end because of the unlikely team of Roger and Garp. While these two answered enemies as the largest of their respective fractions, they knew they had to put their differences in to put down a much greater threat.
Today, the parallels in each of these legendary figures have taken up their roles as the world's leading figures. That is why many fans believe that the end of the series will get a repetition of good Valley's biggest battle, with Luffy and Koby who add their enmity against each other to take down BlackBeard, just like their respective predecessors, Roger and Garp, respectively, with stones on Good Valley. This not only sets up the perfect playoff struggle for all of them, but it also binds everything beautifully.
The relations and parallels between the parties concerned are too perfect for not being followed up in the last story. An incredible fantasy theory says that in the end, Blackbeard can only steal IMU's exaggerated devil fruit, making him the biggest threat to the whole world, just like Rocks was on his day. If this is the case, Luffy will not be able to beat him on his own, so Koby's help will be pretty much required.
