Honkai: Star Rails Aglaea and the newest Trailblazer variant will debut as the first batch of Remembrance characters. The developers partially explained the mechanics of their respective Memoprites, Garmentmaker and Mem, in the Paean of Era Nova Special Program. For some players, however, this information only confirms what they've known for months about these summons from the large amount of leaks about them. Some rumors have also hinted at Memoprites being attached to a beloved member of Honkai: Star Rails existing cast and a new character.
HSR have carefully teased out information about Memoprites in the version 2.7 and 3.0 livestreams. Here's what the developers have confirmed so far.
- Memo sprites can be directed at: Some allies can buff and heal Memoprites, and enemies can damage them.
- Memo sprites have individual abilities: The developers explained during the 3.0 livestream that Memosprites have an energy meter that gains a charge when the protagonist does specific actions such as using their skill or ultimate. When filled, Memoprite can use its skill. The Garmentmaker skill involves attacking a target and its nearby units. Meanwhile, Mem can fully advance an ally's turn and enhance their attack with True DMG, which ignores all buffs and debuffs to directly damage the opponent. This works similarly to Bronya and Sunday's action abilities.
- Some Memoprites have limited time on the battlefield: The developers also explained that Aglaea's Memosprite eventually leaves the battlefield after several turns. It is unclear if Mem will do so as well. In any case, players can always recall them through the protagonist's Skill.

Mem's leaked skills and talents
According to a leaked screenshot from Dim, Mem's action advance skill is called “Lemme! Help!” The information, confirmed by fellow reliable leaker HomDGCat, also revealed that the Remembrance Trailblazers Memoprite has some additional abilities.
- Memosprite Skill – Baddies! Problem!: Mem deals minor Ice DMG to enemies, which bounces four times and deals additional damage to all enemies at the end.
- Memosprite Talent – Friends! Together!: This increases the CRIT stats of all allies when Mem is on the field. The talent also allows Mem to use Baddies! Problem! during their effect when their meter is below 100%. When their charge is full, they will immediately take action to use the “Read! Help!”
- Memosprite Talent – Go, Mem, Go: Mem's charge immediately fills up to 50% after they are summoned.
- Memosprite Talent – No… Sorry: When Mem leaves the battlefield, Trailblazer advances his action by 25%.
Garmentmaker's Leaked Talents
It seems Garmentmaker only has her Thorned Snare attack as her only skill, according to the leaks from HomDGCat and Dim. But their talents more than make up for their lack of a secondary skill. Some of these descriptions have been discussed during the Paean of Era Nova livestream, but they were not described as Memosprite Talents yet.
- Memosprite Talent – A Body Brewed by Tears: Garmentmaker increases her SPD after attacking her enemy with Aglaea's “Seam Stitch” mark. Additionally, they will prioritize harmful enemies marked with Seam Stitch.
- Memosprite Talent – The Speeding Summer: Garmentmaker acts immediately after Aglaea calls them.
- Memosprite Talent – Bloom of Drying Grass: Aglaea gains 20 Energy when Garmentmaker leaves the fight.
Memoprite's leaked tracks
Dim's leaked Memosprite screenshots also showed Mem and Garmentmaker occupying two smaller slot slots in Trailblazer and Aglaea's trees for their Memosprite Skill and Memosprite Talent. It appears that these tracks will take up slots that would otherwise be allocated to the main unit. Therefore, players can expect to farm the same amount of materials that they have always farmed for other characters.
Possible future Memosprites
A popular one HSR the leaker, Uncle Guoba, indicated that Castorice may be released in version 3.2 and that their Memosprite will be a dragon. A “Dark March 7th” could be a possible Memosprite in future versions, according to Dim. These leaks don't go into much detail, as playtest data for these possible future Memoprites is still incomplete. There's no guarantee they'll make it into the game either.
