New Star Wars Zero Company Edition Officially Revealed

Collector's Edition of Star Wars Zero Company was officially revealed during a panel with the game's cast and crew at San Diego Comic Con 2026. Produced by Limited Run Games, Star Wars fans can pre-order Star Wars Zero Company Collector's Edition from now until August 23rd, ahead of the game's August 27th release date. This edition of the game will set fans back a hefty $299.99 and is available for the PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of Star Wars Zero Company.

Star Wars Zero Company is an upcoming turn-based tactics game from Bit Reactor and EA, and it's clearly a game developed by ex XCOM developer. Set during the Clone Wars, the game features a group of misfit mercenaries, known as Zero Company, tasked with carrying out covert operations for the Republic. In truth XCOM fashion, Star Wars Zero Company features mechanics like turn-based squad battles, permadeath, and an upgradeable home base.

Aside from the game for the buyer's platform of choice, Star Wars Zero Company The Collectors Edition comes with several displayable items, such as a Retro Jewelcase reminiscent of classic physical game cases, a Steelbook, cards featuring the game's main characters, patches and a premium foil-stamped box. There are also two pins included in this pack, one with a Clone Commando and the other with the game's logo, as well as a desk mat with artwork of the game printed on it.

The most interesting part of this collector's edition, and likely the source of its high price tag, is a replica of a thermal detonator grenade from Star Wars franchise. Collectors can long-press the top button to toggle the blaster between standard and “droid-popper” modes, and pressing or flipping the blaster triggers an in-game explosion sound effect. Whether this makes the bundle worth $300 is up to collectors to decide, but it's worth noting that the Collector's Edition content won't ship until April 1-June 30, 2027.

Beyond Star Wars Zero Company, Star Wars gaming fans have a lot to look forward to in the rest of 2026. A new Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order manga is set to release in December, and the combatant Star Wars VERTEBRA The remake is rumored to be revealed again later this year as well.
