A Red Dead Redemption 2 modder has shared a ridiculous experiment that led to Jack Marston taking the place of sled dogs. The effort is just the latest in a string of bizarre ones Red Dead Redemption 2 mods.
Open world games are notorious for getting some pretty weird and fun mods. The Elder Scrolls, Fall-outand of course, GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 are some of them among them. This modder is no stranger to coming up with fun ideas for the game in the wild west, with the same person who previously converted Red Dead Redemption 2 to Mortal Kombatinter alia.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Mod makes players look at NPC memories when they die
A streamer demonstrates a Red Dead Redemption 2 mod that replays NPCs' memories when they die, with surprisingly hilarious results.
Modder turns Jack into a sled dog
Blurbs, a well-known modder, has shared another fun and bizarre creation. The idea started innocently enough, with Blurbs tethering a bunch of horses and other animals to a boat, which Arthur was sitting in. Trying to decide how to go faster, Blurbs wondered aloud what the fastest land animal was, only for a viewer to suggest the kid Jack Marston, which the modder hit on. Blurbs tried the idea anyway, with hilarious results. Arthur glides alongside his boat as over half a dozen Jack Marstons rush forward and drag it. The sequence starts around 2:20 in the original video.

To make matters even more stupid, one of the falls eventually gets Jack stuck on the front of the boat, and it only got worse for him from there. The kid ends up falling headfirst into a noose next to Arthur as the rest of the Jacks rush forward, dragging both with them. After taking some time to laugh at the situation, the Blurbs eventually moved on, but it wasn't over for Jack just yet. After creating many fun mod experiments, including one that allowed Arthur to fly, he came up with the idea of Arthur being a snowboarder. After effectively fusing a real board to Arthur's feet, the Blurbs successfully slide Arthur down a snowy slope and then do a bunch of jumps and tricks. When he got tired of it, he traded the board for Jack, saying that the mod straddled the line between whimsy and darkness.
Although Blurbs expressed that using Jack to pull a sled was an “intrusive thought”, this isn't the first time the modder has changed Jack into something other than a normal toddler. Blurbs previously made waves when the modder turned young Jack Marston into a Tomahawk for Arthur to use. The result struck the man RDR2 players just as funny, because Jack successfully took out many opponents, stuck to a tree and ragdolled to the ground.

In another case of Red Dead Redemption 2 modding, Blurbs made every NPC in Red Dead Redemption 2 extremely drunk, causing them to stagger through cutscenes, fall off cliffs and more. Jack wasn't left unscathed in this one either, with a short clip showing him staggering forward before falling flat on his face during a fishing trip. Time will tell what Blurbs and his audience dream up next for the game, and quite possibly for Jack as well.
