Summary
-
Pokemon has released doll plushies for Eevee and almost all of its evolved forms.
-
All eight plushies are currently in stock at the Pokemon Center, although there is no sign of Flareon.
-
It's likely the first of many Eevee announcements where Pokemon proclaims 2025 to be the year of the Eevee.
Pokemon has already decided that 2025 will be the year of Eevee. Exactly what that means isn't clear, though Pokemon have already started celebrating. First up – a new range of Pokemon Dolls plushies. Eevee is the star, and nearly all of its evolved forms join it with all eight new plushes available now at the Pokemon Center.
Pokemon doll plushies are smaller, chibi-style toys designed to look like the dolls that trainers can find in the game. While Eevee and its Eeveelutions have received the Pokemon plush treatment in the past, this new collection tweaks their designs to be more in line with what the offerings have become in recent years.

The new and improved versions of these doll plushies are finally available in the US.
All new releases are available on the Pokemon Center right now and they include Eevee, Leafeon, Jolteon, Vaporeon, Umbreon, Espeon, Sylveon and Glaceon. What is currently unclear is why Flareon has not made it through. Flareon's old Pokemon Doll design is still listed on the Pokemon Center, but it is currently out of stock and has been for a while. Hopefully a new version of the Fire type will join the rest of the new doll plushes soon.
Pokemon has declared 2025 the year of the Eevee
Kicking off with a new range of doll plushies
The Eevee plushies are $16.99 each. Pretty reasonable if you have a favorite and you're only planning on picking up one of them, but bad news for Pokemon fans who want to catch them all as it will set you back almost $136. They don't look like they'll sell out right away, but as is always the case with Pokemon plushies, once they're gone, there's no telling when or even if they'll ever be restocked.

Eevee Pokemon Dolls plush
Pokemon dolls are chibi versions of its regular designs, and Eevee is so cute it was already halfway there. Rejoined to the doll lineup via this new design and joined by almost all of its Eeveelutions for the Eevee Year.
-
Umbreon Pokemon Dolls Plush
Pokemon has turned Eevee and all of its evolved forms into newly designed plushies, and that includes Umbreon. The new Dark-type doll is a chibi version of the Pokémon that stands approximately six and a half inches tall.
The new line of Eevee dolls isn't technically the first Year Of Eevee announcement that Pokemon has made. It came before it had even declared the Year of Eevee a thing through the reveal of its next TCG set, Prismatic Evolutions. The set, which will include Stellar Tera Pokémon ex-versions of Eevee and all of its evolved forms, will be released later this month. However, getting hold of everything from the range is easier said than done right now.
The speculation about how else Eevee could be celebrated in 2025 can now begin. Perhaps Pokemon will have a key role to play in Pokemon Legends: ZA, the next new game in the series that is confirmed to be released sometime this year. The game may even introduce a new Eeveelution. It's been a long time since Pokemon introduced a new evolved form for Eevee, and last year's Game Freak leak revealed that there were once plans for a Flying-type Eeveelution.
