The rumors turned out to be false, as Ross returned to Kick with a new live stream last weekend and apparently has “bigger” plans for the future.
Adin Ross has confirmed that he plans to stay Kick “for good.” The former Twitch streamer has reportedly toyed with the idea of moving away from Kick, but after recently making his much-anticipated return to the platform, it seems Ross is determined to stay the course, that too with ambitious plans for the future.
As one of the most popular and controversial streamers worldwide, Adin Ross joined Kick following his permanent suspension from Twitch in 2023. His switch to the then-nascent streaming platform, along with other content creators such as xQc, greatly benefited Kick's prominence. Ross enjoyed a successful run on the Kick throughout 2023, but in 2024 he suddenly walked away from the platform, leaving fans unsure of his next move. This sparked reports of a potential falling out between Ross and Kicks CEO Ed Craven, but it seems the rumors were unfounded.

Adin Ross responds to Kick CEO's comments about his rumored departure
Adin Ross is firing back at the Kick CEO's comments regarding rumors of his potential departure, escalating speculation about his future with the platform.
During a live stream with Craven on December 21, 2024, Ross confirmed that he intends to stay on Kick after all, seemingly doing a 180 after hinting at an indefinite departure from the streaming platform for months. Now, Ross has assured fans in a recent tweet that he will return to Kick and “be for good this time.” On the weekend of January 4, 2025, Ross was livestreamed for the first time in 74 days alongside fellow content creators Cuffem, Shaggy and Konvy. Now that Ross plans to stay with Kick for the foreseeable future, speculation that he could move to other streaming platforms can be put to rest.
Adin Ross will stick with Kick and has 'Bigger' plans to announce
Adding to the excitement over Ross' return, his tweet also teased that he has “something even bigger” in the works, but details of those future plans are currently shrouded in mystery. Many fans believe this may have something to do with Ross Brand Risk boxing events, which he previously described as a key project he aims to expand with Kick's support. Ross previously faced legal trouble with Misfits Boxing over unsanctioned boxing events in early 2024, so one can only hope that future Brand Risk ventures don't experience the same pitfalls.
Ross' decision to continue with Kick is no doubt a welcome relief to both his fans and the streaming platform, which has worked its way up thanks to deals with hugely popular content creators. Co-founder Bijan Tehrani stated a few months ago that Kick ultimately wants to either beat or buy Twitch. The goal may be pretty lofty, but given the Kicks' current trajectory, it's not entirely out of the realm of reason.
