How to win the King Of The Losers Race in REPO

As Repos is expanding, with it comes new cosmetics, monsters and now minigames. As longtime fans of the game know, developer Semiworks has always had a funny way of deciding who is the ultimate “King of the Losers” when you and your team all perish at the hands (or mouths) of the Repo monsters.

What started as an area battle has now grown into a packed Mario Kart-type race track. Stay on track, race past your friends and avoid obstacles on your way to victory and a shiny crown.

Best ways to win the race

Letting into the arena can be a pain, but you get a countdown before you have to rush off. To check your vehicle, be sure to control with the mousenot your keyboard. You use your keyboard to driveand if you try to steer with it, you'll blow yourself off the track. Drifting is handy when trying to quickly avoid nearby objects.

The way you win is to stay the longest on the course — falling off before your opponents make them win the crown, and falling off at the same time gives the message “Everyone is a loser”.. Without anyone winning the crown. The timer at the top of the screen shows how much time you have until your lane drops, and if you're too slow, you'll fall with it.

Getting to the next part of the course resets the timer, so even if you can win without being ahead, you want to be safe and try to stay ahead of your opponents. The tracks have objects and explosives that either slow you down (making you fall down the track) or blast you off the track into the abyss. Drifting can help counteract the effect of the explosionkeeps you on the platform.

The key is to balance speed with position. Running over glowing marks on the road give you speed boostswhich is helpful for staying on track and ahead of your teammate, but if you drive too fast you'll lose control if you run over a mine. Slow and steady wins the race, but not if you're too cautious.
