Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Player Experiences Rare Archangel Bug

While Black Ops 6 Season 1 is likely to introduce a plethora of bug fixes and quality of life improvements, one player seems to have encountered a rare bug that will likely go unnoticed by Treyarch. On Reddit, user Shaxxsdad posted another short clip Black Ops 6 subreddit jokingly titled “Did I Just Become the Archangel?” In the clip, the user can be seen trying to use the Archangel scorestreak, which is a remote-controlled rocket launcher that can be controlled by the player when used, but it appears that the launcher fails and nothing happens. It is not until the user runs up to an enemy and starts shooting that they appear to transform into the missile and fire directly at the enemy killing them.

It is not clear how the user managed to pull off this oddity Black Ops 6 bug, but they noted that they accidentally switched to their SMG when firing the second missile from the launch pad, which could have caused the score line to miss the way it did. Many users found the bug to be quite amusing, especially compared to some of the other more annoying problems found in the game. “Okay, this is a funny bug. Awkward yes, funny too yes,” said Reddit user treehug223, while East_Can_5142 said, “This is hilarious.”

This is really the first time a player has encountered a bug this humorous Black Ops 6but that's just one of many problems with Call of Dutys latest shooter. Earlier this week, Treyarch distributed a new update for Black Ops 6 which made several weapon tweaks and bug fixes, including an issue with Shotgun Slug shells. Unfortunately, the patch brought with it a whole new problem, as players quickly found that their weapon optics were reset when they entered a game. Thankfully, Treyarch was quick to address the issue and released another hotfix update just a few hours later.
