The Xbox Game Pass the library has been expanded to include Heroes of Might and Magic: Ancient Era and three other Day One titles, now available to play at two membership levels. The unusually large release wave brings the total number of Xbox Game Pass additions in April to 18.
Throughout April 2026, Microsoft's subscription service averaged a new arrival every 48 hours. The latest addition came on April 29, then FEAR-like first-person shooter Trepang2 joined Xbox Game Pass. While 14 titles are already well above the platform's historical monthly average, four more games have now arrived to close out the month.

Inkonbini, Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era and 2 more Day-One titles Join Xbox Game Pass
April 30 additions to the Xbox Game Pass catalog include Heroes of Might & Magic: Ancient Era, TerraTech Legion, Sledding gameand InKonbini. All four are day one arrivals, and most are available on Xbox Series X/S and PC. The only exception is Heroes of Might and Magic: Ancient Eraan Early Access turn-based strategy game currently limited to PC. That limitation also means The old era is skipping Xbox Cloud Gaming for now, as the streaming service runs exclusively on custom Series X hardware.
The April 30 arrivals also expand the Xbox Game Pass library of cozy games with Inkonbinia brand new title about managing a convenience store in a small Japanese town. Developed by Tokyo-based Nagai Industries, Inkonbini combines light control sim elements with NPC interactions, offering a relaxed experience where players gradually get to know the small town through its inhabitants. Inkonbinis aesthetic is rooted in early 1990s Japan, with the game aiming to evoke nostalgia for the period.

For something completely different, the newcomer TerraTech Legion offers a distinct combination of bullet heaven and vehicle building mechanics. Instead of upgrading a character, players continuously design and refine a vehicle to help them survive large enemy hordes. The resulting experience can appeal to fans of everything from LEGO to Vampire Survivor. Rounding off the releases on April 30 is Sledding gamea cozy title about frogs hitting the hill. In between sledding, players can participate in a variety of mini-games, including darts, snowball fights, curling, roasting s'mores and avoiding a yeti.

Looking ahead, the next Xbox Game Pass arrival is scheduled for May 5th, then Final Fantasy 5 joins the service. The full Wave 1 lineup for May 2026 is also likely to be revealed around that date, based on Microsoft's recent announcement pattern.
