You also need to keep in mind that your Battle Buddies will have different stat aptitudes, based on their abilities in combat. Increasing the wrong parameters will waste your material up level, and it will become a liability during combat.

During training, there are a few stats that you will focus on increase the parameters of your Battle Buddies. As you train your buddies, they will also level up and become much more formidable.

Increasing each stat will play a key role during your foray into mazes, but know which parameters to raise first, you should learn how they work while fighting other monsters.

Parameters	Description
Attack	Your attacks, Unite Blitz, Fusion and all other attacks will be much stronger.
HP	You will lose a Battle Buddy's health when they get KO'd, be careful as your Buddy may end up dying when you run out.
Defense	If you don't want your Battle Buddy to die after it's KO'd, work on your defense to make it harder for enemies to drain HP.
KO Attack	This is a crucial stat that can drain an opponent's KO meter, meaning more Blitz attacks.
KO Endurance	Increasing your KO Stamina makes it harder for enemies to KO your Battle Buddies.
Critical course	Increases the odds of critical strikes on enemies.

Which stat to level up first

To make sure your Battle Buddies perform well, choose the stats that make them shine the most. There are a few stats you should prioritize over others depending on the strengths of your mate type.

Attack	Melee Attacker, Long Range Attacker
Defense	Support, formation, close range attackers
Teamwork	Formation, attackers at close range
Meditation	Support, formation, long range attacker, close range attacker

The Stamina stats will work well for melee attackers and formation type buddiesas it allows you to withstand more attacksespecially if you have to fight close to the enemy. You don't need it for Long-Range Attackersbecause they are fight from afar. Both Close and long range attacker perform well with Attack state.

It is also a good idea to level up the defense of your allies and formation mates. Your support buddies will help you a lot during battle inflict status effects on enemiesso make sure they has a high HP and overall defense by raising the level Defense, Endurance and Meditation stats.

If you want drain an enemy's KO meter fasteryou can also invest in Teamworkespecially for yours Formation and nearby attackers. Although Long-Range Attackers will also benefit somewhat from Teamwork. The meditation statistics increases your HP and Critical Rate, so that suitable for all types of friends.
