Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 34 will mark the beginning of a new arc for the series on May 20, 2026, in Shueisha's V-Jump Issue 7. Following the conclusion of the Mamushi arc, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 34 exists to tie up loose ends and tackle post-war content to tease this new chapter. The official website for Boruto and Naruto, naruto-official.com, released a new sneak peek panel on May 18, 2026.
This panel focused on a variety of characters, including Boruto Uzumaki, Chocho, Shikadai Nara, and Inojin Yamanaka, along with Himawari Uzumaki, as they celebrated after defeating Shinju Mamushi. Most importantly, this new panel told us that Himawari Uzumaki, the current wielder of Kurama, has now officially received a Six Paths level power-up and gained healing energy that rivals Naruto from the Fourth Great Ninja War.
New Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 34 Sneak Peek Confirms Himawari's New Healing Powers
On May 18, 2026, the official Boruto and Naruto website, naruto-official.com, revealed a second sneak peek panel for Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 34. Although the focus of this new sneak peek was Boruto Uzumaki as he teleported away after Mamushi in Konoha, it also showed some light on Himmaca Uzumaki. save Inojin's eyes in the previous chapter.
IN Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 33, released on April 20, 2026, Inojin tried to save Konoha by using his Mind-Body Transfer on Mamushi and directing Killing Intent to Daemon, which would then reflect on all the Mamushi clones and get rid of them for good. Since Inojin wanted Daemon's eyes to become ineffective, that very action was reflected on all the Mamushi clones, including Inojin's own body. Basically, both of Inojin's eyes were destroyed in this attempt, and his entire strength as a ninja would have been greatly nerfed if that was the case. Soon after, Himawari was seen using Kurama's healing powers to fix Inojin.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 34 finally shows the results, thanks to the new sneak peek. In this chapter it is clear to see that Inojin has both of his eyes intact and that Himawari was able to restore them completely and give him full sight again. This is a huge feat of healing ability that reminds us of what Naruto Uzumaki did in the Naruto manga in the Fourth Great Ninja War, 12 years ago in May 2014.

Boruto: Best Fights In The Anime, Ranked
The Boruto series is laced with captivating battles and exciting fights. Here's a look at some of the best in anime.
Himawari's restorative powers are comparable to Naruto's Six Paths Yin-Yang Release
To really appreciate Himawari Uzumaki's new healing ability from Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 34, we simply need to go back to Naruto's feat from the Fourth Great Ninja War. Back in the war, Madara Uchiha snuck up on Kakashi near the end and ripped his Mangekyo Sharingan and used it to go to the Kamui Dimension. Around this time, Naruto had already awakened his Six Paths powers, and moments later he used Yin-Yang Release to restore Kakashi's old eye even though it had been stolen from him. This was a god-level feat, which Naruto exclaimed that he himself did not understand how he managed.
“Kakashi sensei, try to open your eye now! You could say I took a part of Kakashi-sensei and did some hmm…something!” — Naruto Uzumaki, Naruto Chapter 675
Restoring lost organs is a very difficult feat to accomplish, and only those with god-level powers have been able to do so before. Himawari Uzumaki did something similar in the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 34 sneak peek. She was able to use Kurama's power to fully restore Inojin's eyes, despite both having been lost in the previous chapter. This is in many ways a feat even greater than what Naruto showed in the war.
On the surface, this may seem surprising to some fans, but it makes a lot of sense since Himawari's synergy with Kurama is greater than even Naruto's, which was officially confirmed to us in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 10, which was released in V Jump Issue #7 in May 2024. In this chapter, Kurama has even had more synergy with Himawari than him. Naruto, and it causes her to unlock more of his powers than any previous user.
“I can sense that your chakra has a higher affinity to mine than any predecessor's. More so than even Naruto's.” — Kurama to Himawari, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 10
More than that was later confirmed Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 25 that Himawari is not a Jinchuriki and that she is a human tail will, similar to how Jura acts as the incarnation of the ten tails. This means that Himawari's Kurama powers are much purer and more than that much more potent, allowing her to perform feats that even Naruto could not perform before.
You are no ordinary Shinobi. In fact, you're even a bit different from the Jinchuriki…those who have the Tailed Beast within them. You're human, but if anything, you're more like me and Jura. — Kurama to Himawari, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 25

Himawari's full potential in Boruto's future: Two Blue Vortex
It goes without saying that Himawari Uzumaki is extremely powerful right now, and the latest feat she did in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 34 shows the improvement she has made in a very short time. But she still isn't close to fulfilling her potential as a shinobi. Himawari was seen training with Kurama in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 25, and it was clear to see that she largely disappointed the Tailed Beast. This suggests that she is nowhere near unlocking her full potential.
It will take Himawari years to fully master Kurama's power, and when she does, she should have access to abilities like full Kurama Chakra mode and healing ability at a level comparable to the Six Paths. More than that, Himawari might even be able to use powers similar to Baryon Mode, and this time, due to higher synergy, she might even manage to avoid death by doing so.
Of course, this is all speculation on our part, but the possibility is real and cannot be denied. In both cases, Himawari has been hailed by Kurama as having even more potential than Naruto Uzumaki, and this is an official statement coming from writer Mikio Ikemoto and supervisor Masashi Kishimoto himself. By adulthood she should be well above the average Kage level ninja and strong enough to compete with the likes of Otsutsuki and even Jura. Once Himawari masters her power, she should be one of Konoha's elite shinobi and maybe even surpass Naruto Uzumaki in his prime, which is a significant achievement for her and one we would all really appreciate after watching her grow for about 10 years now.
For that to happen though, we'll have to be a lot more patient, as Himawari is still very young and nowhere near mastering Kurama's powers. She is also not the main character of the series and only serves the role of a supporting character. The vast majority of focus will still be on the likes of Boruto Uzumaki, Kawaki, and Sarada Uchiha. Himawari will have her moments, but sporadically, and that's something we all have to keep in mind so that our expectations are tempered. Anyway, this new Six Path level power-up is there to be celebrated and enjoyed by all Boruto fans.
