The movies in these series are all winners

Creating a popular film series is not easy. Many have made good first films but have struggled to follow them with the same quality. It is even more difficult to do it several times in a row. As such, even really popular film series, such as Star Wars and MCU, have some dudders in there.

Still, there are some series that have been able to remain very consistent and in a miraculous way not produce a single bad movie. Every post in the series has been a winner. Only a few series can say that they have achieved this performance. Here are some of them.

Toy history

Toy story-spin-offs have not been taken into account.

Like most Pixar creations, the Toy Story series is built on a unique and creative premise: What if Toys lived and lived live when their people were not around? From that concept, Pixar has managed to create four excellent films. Each one is filled with lots of laughter, good animation and a dose of heart.

The most impressive thing is that Toy Story designed the perfect final for Toy Story 3, which means that all items that came after would automatically be compared unfavorably; However, Toy Story 4 is a fantastic movie in itself. Yes, it is perhaps the weakest of the four, but it is definitely not bad, and it does not feel like it takes down the series as a whole.

Dark Knight trilogy

There have been many Batman films at this point, but all three of Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy should be considered among the best of live action. Each film gives an earthed and realistic grip on the Batman universe.

Christian Bale is a decent Batman and Bruce Wayne, but it is actually some of the other performances that really stand out. Michael Caine as Alfred, Gary Oldman as James Gordon, Cillian Murphy as a scarecrow, and of course Heath Ledger as the joker are almost perfect depictions of his characters. They are all the help of some smart writing and generally good stories.

Three flavors Cornetto trilogy

The three flavors Cornetto trilogy is an unusual series, as the three films do not share a story or set of characters. It is more of an anthology series where Edgar Wright directs each post, and they all Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.

The three films are Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and the end of the world. The prerequisite for each one is completely different, but they all contain a bunch of fun jokes and a lot of entertaining violence. Fans of the trilogy differ in which is the best of the three, but everyone can agree that they are all good in themselves.

Mad Max

Mad Max is a series that has extended over a few decades. As such, it has changed a bit over the years. That said, the core prerequisite for the films set in a wasteland with limited resources has been more or less a constant. What has also been a constant is the high quality of these films. The third film, Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, is arguably the weakest in the series, but it is not bad.

All films contain excellent stunts and choreography, and most have good production value. The story is not always the deepest in these films, but the overall adventure is very entertaining.

Austin Powers

The Austin Powers films are upsetting parodi films as fun on the James Bond and Spy Thriller genre in general. Unlike most parody films, these are brilliantly written and contain a bunch of funny gags.

Some will not agree with the claim that there are no bad Austin Powers movies because the third, Goldmember, is not generally loved. Although it is not as good as the first two, it is still a decent movie that gives lots of laughter. Much of this comes from Michael Myer's depiction of both the titular protagonist and the equally fun Dr. Evil. Not all jokes in these three films have aged perfectly, but each of them still has some white lines and smart vision.

Kung Fu Panda

Followers for animated children's films do not have the best track record. After all, most people feel like fast cash. Still, the series contains a clumsy Panda who tries to master Kung Fu, named Kung Fu Panda, some fantastic sequels.

In fact, one of the first three films can be considered among the best Dreamworks films ever. The fourth is not as good, but it is still fun enough not to be considered a bad movie. “Fun” is the right word because that's exactly what these movies give. They are fun to look at, from their action scenes to their comic moments. In addition, there is a decent amount of heart and pleasant story shown in these movies as well.

Back to the future

There is a trilogy by Back to the Future Movies. Each is about time -traveling exploits by Marty McFly, played by Michael J. Fox and Doc Brown, played by Christopher Lloyd. The great chemistry between the two actors is clear in all three films and helps to raise everything.

Each movie handles time travel, but what is remarkable is that they do it in distinct ways. The first is about going back to when Marty's parents met, the second movie is about entering the future, and the last movie is set in the Old West. So during the course of the series, the authors use the exciting concept of time travel.

John Wick

All John Wick films revolve around the titular protagonist who uses his exceptional skills as Hitman to take out various criminals and murderers. The appeal of all these films comes from their exciting action scenes.

The fact that there are four films that are worthy action sets that all feel different and never grow old shows the exceptional quality of choreography. You can see them all back-to-back without ever getting tired of seeing John Wick killing people in brutal and creative ways. These are really some of the best action movies in the 2010s.
