In a world as dark and gloomy as the one you see Whitenit always helps to have a few people around who can lighten the mood with their over the top antics and willingness to say whatever pops into their minds. Fortunately, this wildly popular anime has seen its fair share of characters who could be considered extroverts, characterized by being very sociable, eccentric, and ultimately just the life of the party.

Bleach: 7 Most Introverted Characters
These Bleach characters often prefer their own company rather than hanging out with others.
However, this does not only apply to some of Ichigo's friends, but also several of his enemies, who have been known to be very outgoing in their personalities. When the story of Whiten are heating up, these characters are always the ones ready to jump headfirst into battle, no matter how dangerous things may get in the way.
8 Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez
The unpredictable Wild-Card Of The Espada
- First appearance: Episode 116
While the majority of Espada are presented as low and rather aloof characters who prefer to keep to themselves, Grimmjow is the complete opposite. Whether he's recklessly venturing into the world of the living to abuse Ichigo, or lashing out at his peers for the slightest inconvenience, he's a wild card who often feels the need to act on his impulses.
As a warrior always looking for a fight, Grimmjow is also not shy about approaching almost anyone, although he often prefers to let his claws do the talking once he spots his latest victim. His outgoing nature has gotten him into trouble with Aizen on numerous occasions for being a little too reckless, but now that he's free from his master's shackles, the former Espada is potentially more dangerous than ever.
7 Kisuke Urahara
Urahara prefers to be around others rather than conduct independent research
- First appearance: Chapter 13
Despite being one of the smartest characters in the series, Kisuke is never afraid to speak out loud about whatever random and weird ideas he has, even if they have nothing to do with the mission. In addition, Kisuke can also always be seen with people around him, implying that he is a character who loves to be sociable.

Bleach: 8 Characters With The Best Arcs
These Bleach characters have experienced tremendous growth and development since their introduction.
In his shop, for example, his loyal assistants Ururu, Jinta, and Tessai are always there to keep him company, but once he enters Soul Society, he greets all the other Soul Reapers with open arms, including his protégé Mayuri. Kisuke also seems to be a big fan of spontaneous travel, always popping up in the most random places to have a quick chat, though this place happens to include Ichigo's bedroom window, which really isn't weird at all.
6 Pepe Waccabrada
The Love Guru is the very definition of a “people person”
- First appearance: TYBW episode 23
Pepe may only make a brief appearance during his time in the Thousand Year Blood War arc, but he still knows how to make himself known in the limited screen time he's given. Pepe is a Sternritter who is obsessed with the idea of love, believing it to be the one central component that makes the world go round, and as a result, he can always be seen preaching his ideology at the top of his lungs whenever he appears.
Being a love guru, Pepe is also one of the most approachable Sternriders in the series, always ready to embrace those who fall for his powers. While Pepe's over-the-top personality is why many fans find him a little annoying, he's still arguably one of the most extroverted Quincys out there.
5 Rangiku Matsumoto
Rangiku is always ready to share a drink and meet new people
- First appearance: Episode 24
Tite Kubo, the writer of Bleach, knew exactly what he was doing when he paired Hitsugaya and Rangiku as captain and lieutenant respectively. While the former is a calm and stoic captain who takes his role very seriously, Rangiku is a fun-loving and largely carefree companion who often tries to bring Hitsugaya out of his shell through pranks and pranks.
Although she can lock eyes with a worthy opponent, back at the Soil Society, Rangiku loves nothing more than to see which other Soul Reapers she can wrangle together for a drink at the local bar. Being so gregarious means she has tons of friends within Soul Society, unlike many of her peers who have at least a few people they'd rather not get along with.
4 Kenpachi Zaraki
Kenpachi's thirst for battle means he will approach anyone he deems worthy
While Rangiku might be hunting people she can share a drink with, Kenpachi on the other hand is always on the lookout for individuals with strong spiritual pressure to engage in battle with. The captain's undying thirst for battle makes him not hesitate to approach anyone he sees as a worthy opponent, even complete strangers like Ichigo.

Bleach: Strongest Hollow, Ranked
Discover who Heuco Mundo's most powerful Hollow is, from the great Vasto Lorde to the almighty Arrancar of Bleach.
As soon as Ichigo landed in Soul Society to save Rukia, Kenpachi sprinted towards him, eager at the prospect of taking on someone who might surpass his own strength and abilities. Kenpachi is also a man who enjoys yelling out loud whatever is on his mind at the current moment, a prime example being his gleeful response to Gremmy calling down a meteor in the Millennium Blood War arc.
3 Riruka Dokugamine
The only time Riruka lowers her energy is when she tries to impress Ichigo
- First appearance: Episode 343
Similar to Grimmjow, Riruka feels like an anomaly in her respective group. Instead of using a mysterious persona to avoid attracting attention like the other Fullbringers, Riruka has no problem being as loud and energetic as possible, especially when she has Ichigo in her sights.
Riruka's more positive and bubbly personality adds much more life to the Fullbringers as a unit and is part of the reason she has become such a fan favorite. Although there are glimpses of a more troubled young girl underneath, Riruka can still often be seen as a fun, outgoing and very extroverted enemy turned ally of Ichigo.
2 Nel
Even in adult form, Nel is as bubbly and eccentric as ever
- First appearance: Episode 146
When Nel takes the form of a child, it makes little sense why she comes across as sociable and carefree considering her young age. When she's not yelling at Ichigo's opponents or covering him in slime, Nel enjoys dancing around with her loyal companions Dondachaka and Pesche, or playing with hollows she encounters in Hueco Mundo.
While it might be easy to assume that Nel would become a little more mellow and introverted as she evolves into her adult form, that's actually not the case. Instead, she still retains her childlike optimism and personality which makes her a lot of fun to watch on screen, but maybe not as much fun for Ichigo, who she often tries to hug to death.
1 Bazz-B
Bazz-B is a loud, bombastic but also incredibly powerful member of Sternritter
- First appearance: TYBW episode 3
Bazz-B may be a hothead who always touts himself as one of the strongest Sternriders, but he's not entirely wrong, as he possesses an incredibly destructive set of abilities that make him a deadly force to deal with. Still, when Bazz appears, he always tries to be the center of attention and is never shy about letting his emotions flow if he feels annoyed about something.
This can be seen when Uryu is introduced to the Sternritter ranks. While many of the other soldiers reluctantly accepted their new comrade, Bazz-B threw a fit and did the same when Renji insulted his stylish mohawk. He may be an outgoing bundle of energy, but it's also easy to get under Bazz-B's skin, which is by far his biggest vulnerability.
