Titled Operation: Meteorite, the three prequel story missions follow Master Chief and Sgt. What's more, Operation: Meteorite will include new enemy types and more weapon types from around the world Halo series. In the two-and-a-half-minute trailer, fans can see the Operation: Meteorite missions coming to life The campaign developed seems to have a bit of everything too Halo fans. Obviously there's the usual ground-based combat, now with a new brute type that's covered in armor to terrorize fans playing on Legendary, but there's also a new space mission where it appears Chief and Johnson are piloting a Covenant phantom variant, which of course it wouldn't be right to create a new set of Halo mission without at least one warthog driving sequence, as shown in the trailer. Additionally, pre-orders for the game are now live in all storefronts for a modest $49.99.
With three new story missions, fans will have a lot to look forward to Halo: Campaign Evolveds new Operation: Meteorite prequel story. However, this raises the question of how far Halo Studios is willing to go with additions in potential upcoming remakes. Several insiders have said so Halo 2 and 3 has remakes in the same vein as The campaign developed coming down the pipeline, which is an interesting proposition for Halo 2 particularly. As Halo games that were more or less patched up less than a year from launch, as many fans have expressed Halo 2 has always felt like the most half-baked of the trilogy games, making it a prime target for story additions like those coming to The campaign developed.
