Reddit user Vestan_Pance has shared a post with Silent Hill community and sees a creepy silhouette watching them from a window. Although the player only shared a couple of images, it can be seen that it does not appear to be an optical illusion, as the silhouette moves over time. It seems that this particular detail went unnoticed by many players, unsurprisingly, likely due to the overall poor lighting conditions and many likely keeping an eye out for potential hazards on the streets of Silent Hill and not the inside of a building.
Players Respond to Silent Hill 2 Silhouette
Several fans of the game have commented that they didn't see this, although some apparently did. One player said they tried to shoot at the silhouette, but only managed to break the windowpane. Some wondered if it would be Mary or Maria looking at the player, but it's too hard to tell. Chances are, someone will eventually investigate the area with a camera hack to see if there is actually anyone up there, but for now, players are left to speculate.
The Bloober Team has accomplished the difficult task of recreating what made the original Silent Hill 2 great while adding some new stuff too.
