Developer Liquid Swords has just confirmed that the console versions of the Samson are currently slated for release in the fall of 2026. Samson is a third-person action-adventure game where players take on the role of the eponymous ex-criminal forced back into the world of crime to pay off some serious debts. The game was released on PC on April 8th, and unfortunately it wasn't met with the best reception from critics or general audiences. Samson currently sits at a Top Critic Average of 53 on OpenCritic, with just 33% of critics recommending the game. Over on Steam, Samson has a “Mixed” rating based on 2,414 user reviews. GameRant's own Nick Rodriguez provided Samson a 3/10, calling it a “broken, boring, charmless mess of a game that needed either more time in the oven or a stronger vision.”
