The My Hero Academia the manga ended in 2024, and the anime followed a year later in 2025. Like all other series, fans expected Horikoshi to set up the main couple of his series at the end. But for quite some time, Horikoshi avoided doing so, and pairings were left up to fans' imaginations.
However, in the extra chapter 431, it was revealed that Deku and Ochaco really ended up together and finally started their dating life. Deku and Ochaco had a heartfelt moment where the two expressed their love for each other. It is unknown what happened to the relationship after that, and if they married. But at least they're dating. This could be expanded on more in future projects by My Hero Academia.
Tanjiro Kamado and Kanao Tsuyuri
The Demon Slayer the series comes to an end in anime with the beginning of the Infinity Castle trilogy. However, the manga ended quite a few years ago. With that in mind, fans already know who survived and who ended up as a couple. The main couple of the series eventually became Tanjiro and Kanao. This didn't exactly come as a shock to fans. Among the female cast of Demon Slayer, Kanao was the only one to have any sort of romantic tension with Tanjiro, although it was never fully explored.
Kanao also helped Tanjiro a lot in his journey. In the final conflict where Tanjiro was about to become the new Demon King, Kanao was the one who saved him by blinding herself in her left eye to inject him with the antidote. While this couple was definitely nice, fans definitely wished they had more moments together before the end.

The One Piece the series has never really focused on romance. After all, Eiichiro Oda, the creator, refuses to include any romance between the Straw Hat Pirates. Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyuga
The Naruto the series has cemented itself as a legendary shonen anime and manga. When the Naruto manga ended in 2014, many exciting couples were formed. Among these pairings, the one that fans were most excited to see was Naruto Uzumaki, the main character of the series. Fans were conflicted about whether Naruto should end up with Sakura or Hinata, but Kisimoto's decision was final. Naruto Uzumaki ended up marrying Hinata Hyuga.
Of course, the relationship between these two goes way back. Ever since she was little, Hinata had a huge crush on Naruto, but she was always too shy to approach him properly. The relationship would take a step up during the Pain arc, when Hinata risked her life to protect him, and in turn Naruto defeated Pain to protect her life. Maki Zenin and Yuta Okkotsu
Jujutsu Kaisen's manga ended in 2024, and after its initial conclusion Gege Akutami, the creator of the story, refrained from revealing any endgame pairings. That said, with the release of the final volume of JJKreturned Gege for a brief moment with a one-off chapter. In this chapter, he revealed Yuta Okkotsu's two grandchildren. This confirmed to fans that Yuta, at least, got married. Although theories circulated about who their grandmother might be, her identity was not confirmed until it was released Jujutsu Kaisen: Moduloan official sequel.
In Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo, more information was revealed about these grandchildren, as they took the stage as the new main characters. It was confirmed Yuta Okkotsu married Maki Zeninand together they had a son, Iori Okkotsu, who then had two children, Yuka and Tsurugi Okkotsu. For the most part, this ship was extremely well received by all fans. It patiently built into the main story and made perfect sense, as there was always romantic tension between the two.

There aren't many couples in the Shonen world that are as iconic as the endgame romance Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Edward Elric and Winry always had some romantic tension right from the start, as the two practically grew up together. While Winry was never a fighter, she was always there to support Edward. After all, she was the one who created and maintains his mechanical limbs.
At the end of Fullmetal Alchemist, Edward and Winry got married. This was definitely a highlight of the final part of the story, and even now, decades after the end of the story, it remains one of the most memorable and beloved couples in Shonen.
Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki
Naruto Uzumaki's parents have one of the best relationships in anime and manga. As children, both expressed their desire to be Hokage. Kushina was often brash and insecure, largely due to her own insecurities, but Minato noticed her beauty and risked his life for her when she was kidnapped by Kumogakure. Later, Kushina helped Minato in many battles and even taught him the Sealing Jutsu of the Uzumaki clan, which brought them closer.
In the Third Great Ninja War, Minato invented a Jutsu to protect Kushina, which she eventually named the Rasengan. The Rasengan ended up being their legacy, which they eventually passed on to their son through Jiraiya. The two went on to die together to save their son on the day of the Nine-Tails attack.
