The teaser trailer introduces Miniskirt Santa, who will play a crucial role in the upcoming anime. It has also been confirmed that Reina Ueda will voice the character. Reina Ueda has previously worked with Chainsaw Man (Reze), Fruits Basket (Kisa Soma) and The Dangers In My Heart (Yurine Hanzawa). The key image also focuses on the miniskirt elf.

What fans can expect from Rascal Don't Dream of Santa Claus

Rascal Does Not Dream is a light novel series written by Hajime Kamoshida. It began serialization in April 2014 and ended in October 2024. It received a manga adaptation in 2015, illustrated by Tsugumi Nanamiya. The anime adaptation of Rascal Does Not Dream began airing in 2018. Following the success of the anime, a film titled Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl was announced. It adapted the sixth and seventh volumes of the light novel.

Two more films were subsequently announced, each adapting one volume of the light novel. Rascal Does Not Dreams of a Sister Venturing Out featured content from the eighth volume, while Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid adapted the ninth. Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus is the adaptation of the University Student arc, which begins in volume 10.
