Pokemon Legends: ZA fans will get another look at the upcoming Mega Dimension DLC on November 6th. While the base game has been out for less than a month, The Pokemon Company has already confirmed that a paid expansion would be coming out shortly after release. Anyone who has already completed the main content for Pokemon Legends: ZA may not have to wait long for more, now that Game Freak has an announcement in the works.
The Pokemon Company revealed Pokemon Legends: ZA's Mega Dimension DLC on September 12th, more than a month before the game even came out. In the first reveal, fans got a look at two new Mega Evolutions for Raichu, and given the DLC's name and the base game's focus on Megas, more new Mega Evolutions are sure to follow. While leaks have abounded since then, official information has been scarce, but that won't be true for much longer.
Pokemon Legends: ZA Mega Dimension DLC gets another announcement on November 6th
The Pokemon Company's Japanese Twitter account announced that the studio will reveal more details about Legends: ZAs upcoming DLC on November 6, 2025. That news will likely take the form of a new trailer, which the post says to check out The Pokemon Company's official YouTube channel to stay up to date, and it will be released at 11:00 PM JST, or 9:00 AM EST. It's unclear exactly what the trailer will be about, but considering the DLC doesn't have a release date yet, it would make sense for it to reveal the launch day. The fans already know Legends: ZAs DLC will be released in two parts, so it's possible that Game Freak may announce the first date but not the second, but it's hard to say anything for sure until the news actually arrives.
The imminent announcement may also showcase some new Megas or other Pokémon not found in the base game. Leaks have hinted at that Pokemon Legends: ZAs DLC will feature 138 returning Pokemon and over a dozen new Mega Evolutions, so there seems to be quite a bit of content The Pokemon Company could show off in the trailer. Additional story details aren't off the table either.
With or without DLC, the latest in Pokémon franchise has been a marked success. Despite some criticism from fans, Pokemon Legends: ZA sold 5.8 million copies in its first week alone, enough to surpass Pokemon X and Y and Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee. Additional content could help boost those numbers, especially if the upcoming news has enough to show off to fans.
