Battlefield 6 has just released its free-to-play Battle Royale mode, RedSec and PlayStation Plus subscribers can now claim a free Battlefield 6 cosmetics to mark the occasion. PlayStation Plus subscribers have already had access to some exclusives Battlefield 6 rewards, such as additional Battlefield Pro levels, double XP event additions, and squad XP boosts, but this new pack is even more rewarding.
Landing just two weeks after the base game's launch, Battlefield 6: RedSec is the long-awaited follow-up to Battlefield Vs Firestorm battle royale mode. RedSec was launched today along with Battlefield 6 Season 1, which adds some new maps, modes, weapons and a battle pass to the military multiplayer shooter.
PlayStation Plus subscribers can claim Battlefield 6's Rogue Ops Pack for free
Starting October 28th, those with an active PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra or Premium membership can claim Battlefield 6s 'Rogue Ops' pack at no extra cost. All items included in this pack can then be used by players in both Battlefield 6s multiplayer mode and its new RedSec offerings.
Battlefield 6The Rogue Ops Pack contains 11 exclusive cosmetics, which include the following:
- “Going Dark” soldier skin for the PAX Assault class
- “Night Raid” vehicle shell for the UH-79
- “Arctic Reign” weapon pack for L110
- “Early Grave” weapon pack for P18
- “Lamina” parachute
- “No Limits” patch
- “Target Spotted” player card background
- “Lead Rain” dog tag
- “Jacked In” weapon charm
- Decal with “spiced” weapon
- “Aggressive Tactics” vehicle decal

The dark color scheme i Battlefield 6 However, the Rogue Ops “Going Dark” skin pack could be a controversy waiting to happen. Call of Duty: WarzoneThe Roze “Rook” skin – which has a similar dark color scheme – received widespread criticism when it launched a few years ago due to legibility issues. As said, Battlefield 6s “Going Dark” skin has areas of armor that have white highlights, so it probably won't be as much of a problem as the all-black Roze skin that was barely visible in the shadows.
To claim the Rogue Ops pack, players simply need to head over to the PlayStation Store (a link to the US PS Store can be found in the Source link at the bottom of this page), ensure they have an active PS Plus subscription at any level, and download the pack.
