How to get refined parts and special parts in Once Human

You will stumble upon tons of junk while playing Once human. But one man's trash is another man's treasure, as the saying goes. Players will need to collect lots of Refined parts and Special part for their mid-level crafting projects, and digging through piles of seemingly worthless junk is the best way to get them.

Bargain Refined parts and Special part will be confusing at first, especially since they don't just appear randomly as part of regular loot tables. This guide for new Once human players aims to alleviate some of that confusion in hopes of helping players find these crafting materials as quickly and as easily as possible.

How to get refined parts in Once Human

Unlike other resources, you cannot get Refined parts as loose change. Instead of picking them up, you have to make your own by picking apart the random junk you find as you explore. Specifically, you need to collect trash that grows around the Iron River region and beyond if you want to get there Refined parts. Here are some things to look out for when raiding POIs:

• Riot Shields
• Smart stereo units
• Scrap Nice barrel
• Scrap Fine Body
• Scrap Fine stock

A good place to start is
The refinery's contamination point was found at coordinates 5249, -3727.
This is an industrial complex with lots of valuable junk just lying around. It's also one of the best places to find fireproof plastic

so you'll kill two birds with one stone if you raid this area. You'll find it directly south of Greywater Camp.

How to get special parts in Once Human

You get Special part the same way you get Refined parts — by dismantling rubbish. The only difference here is that special parts can only be obtained from items that drop at higher levels. Specifically, you can start getting these items when you start exploring Chalk Peak (Lvl. 32+) and beyond. You'll want to look for electronics and appliances, which you'll find plenty of in residential areas, clubhouses, kitchens, and even security silos. Holt Town and Furnace Lair in Chalk Peak are good places to start.

Some items that give Special part include:

• CPUs
• Coffee maker
• Ovens
• Ball bearings
• Scrap Sniper Rifle Body
• Scrap SMG Body
• Welding machine

No matter what kind of parts you need, the only way to get them is to disassemble junk in one Disassembly bench. Most (if not all) junk items are worthless by default, so feel free to take them apart at home whenever you get the chance.

Refined and Special part are key components for manufacturing higher end equipment and vehicle parts. Before you go crafting, you should stock up on Energy Links i Once human, as many high-end recipes require thousands of them as part of the manufacturing costs.

Special parts and refined parts on the Once Human Way of Winter

The Way of Winter scenario i Once human takes place in the previously inaccessible northern fringes of Nalcott Island, and players are restricted to this zone only. As such, none of the aforementioned areas are available. But you can still get special parts and refined parts the same way you do above: raid level-specific areas and dismantle materials.

To bring in refined parts Once man's Way of Winter scenarioyou have to raid level 20-30 areas. The the southern Venafjord region is a good place to start — follow the road along the snowy mountain and loot every camp and town you see.

To bring in special parts Once human Way of Winter, you must raid level 30+ areas. The best place to get specialty parts is Ember Strand on the west end of the mapwhich mainly contains level 40+ enemies. You'll often find junk here that can be scrapped for both custom and auto parts. You can also try raids Securement Silo Psi and 08which are level 30 and 40 respectively.
