Success in Throne fall depends a lot on your ability to effectively manage both your army and the economy. Note that any housing structures destroyed in battle will not produce any gold the next morning, so protecting them from enemy forces is equally important to maintaining a consistent gold income. Build gold mines when you are low on gold
