Gear up for fishing
When you're ready to start fishing in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance – which is after Fireworks Fantasy Night quests as part of the main story in Asterleeds – you must first find the two materials necessary to catch fish: a fishing rodand some kind fish bait to use on your line when casting.
Thank God, what it not need is Focus to catch fish at lower level!
There are two ways to get these items so you can start fishing in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance.
You can:

She urges you to do so join the angler club when you talk to her, which rewards you with one free fishing rod, bait and fishing guide to read at your leisure for tips on the skill.
-
Simply go to one of the fishing spots around the map and start fishing this way. Without equipment, you will be prompted to visit fishing shop in the gamewho will sell you all the gear and bait you need. It's where you'll revisit later when you want to buy new gear too, as new fishing rods are unlocked as you level up your fishing skill. These will cost a few Luno (Bound), but it never hurts to know where and how to stock up.
Even if you choose to buy the fishing rod, you should still visit the Fishing Guild Member, as it triggers Invitation from the Fishing Guild applicant. You have to capture an Astercad for this quest, which takes you to the fishing spot i Yacht port (the location of the port marked on your map when you start the mission). You'll be rewarded with some miscellaneous bait, Adventurer EXP, and some Luno (Bound) for the efforts.

How to fish
Fishing mini-games are notoriously tricky to get right, but it's pretty easy in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance! You have to go to one first Fishing spotwhich is marked in the overworld as a glowing white dot near a body of water. You'll often find them on piers and beaches, or in marked locations on your map that are marked with fish icons.
When you get to your fishing spot, cast off when you're done equipped a fishing rod and bait on the minigame hot bar at the bottom of the screen. This throws your bobber into the water, and you have to do it watch out for your bobber to wobble below the surface, which means you have something going on. The wobbles a few times before it's ready, so wait for one exclamation mark to appear before clicking the reel button again to start the fishing minigame.
You will see the screen divided into three sectionsso think about where the fish and your bobber are in relation to each other here. This will wrestle the fish closer to you and in line with your fishing rod, but you have to pay attention to slack in your line so it doesn't snap and release the hook you work so hard to reel in.
When the fish is in the same zone as your fishing rod, you want it hold the scroll button to move the fish towards you relative to a progress bar at the bottom of the screen. Get the fish icon all the way to the left, and you'll reel in your catch successfully.
What to do with your fish
There are many ways to use the fish you've caught in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance! Whether it's to farm cash, guild experience, or even to invest in other life skills, you'll want to take the time to stop and fish every now and then. Sure, they can be bought too, but catching them is not only a cheaper way to collect these sometimes expensive materials, but a reliable way to build up your fishing level at the same time. You will use your scallops for chitin fiber while at the Homestead.
Botanymeanwhile will require a little more work from the top but will reward you handsomely for the efforts. At level two of the skill, you will be able to catch the rare fish without using your Focus.
