Suikoda 1 HD: Beginner tips and tricks
Getting started in the suicode can be a bit overwhelming, so this guide will cover some useful things to know and ways to get strong early.
Story lock
Soul Eater (Protagonist-exclusive: Rune of Life and Death)
Soul Eater is automatically equipped to the protagonist/McDohl during the early stages of the game, although its power will gradually make itself known as you go through the story. After some important moments in the story, Soul Eater will have access to powerful new magic formulas that will prove extremely effectively against most enemies, although its immediate death effects do not work on managers.

Good-speed (stallion exclusively)
The God-Speed Rune, exclusive to stallion, is an extremely useful tool for getting around the world map. It significantly increases your movement rate when traveling on foot, making it easier to run between the cities and cross the map. Stallion will join you automatically during the story after you defeat Kwanda Rosman at Pannu Yakuta. So remember to put him in the party when you need to move quickly.
Best runes
Prosperity rune & fortune rune
Prosperity Rune and Fortune Rune are a couple of powerful support runs, where it previously doubles Potch earned and the latter doubled Exp which served for the unit equipped with it. You can get one of these runes early in the game by traveling to Sarady alone as soon as you can access the world map (Fortune Rune) or with TED tagging right after he first goes with your party (Prosperity Rune.) Erifying Exp is not too much problem in this game, so we recommend that you get Prosperity Rune. In addition, Fortune Runes can be purchased in Kirov later in the game, while prosperity runes can only be found as a drop from Pseudo-Sirens near Kirov.
To reach MT Tigerwolf, which you need to travel through to get to Saady, you have to go southwest from the capital and cross a bridge. The mountain will be up to the left after crossing the bridge, And you probably want to run from as many enemies as possible to make it safe solo. If you manage to get a level or two before you enter, it will help you refuel some hits from the enemies that are in the mountains, giving you more opportunities to escape, and you can use the healing objects that are in coffins on the way up to top yourself.
Fire Rune & Lightning Rune
The fire and lightning strikes are excellent runes for Spellcasters who want to output injuries, especially against groups of enemies. You get a Fire Rune early into the story via an undue story event, and a character that you recruit later into the game goes with a lightning Rune equipped. To get extra fire church, you want to chase Kobold -Mages in the outside world near Kobold Village and Elf Village or buy them in Rikon. To get more lightning strikes, you have to reach Warrior Village and buy them from the store there.
Later in the game you want to upgrade to Rage Rune (dropped by Elite Soldiers) and Thunder Rune (dropped by Simurgh)To gain access to the strongest fire and lightning strikes. You can also get a guaranteed rage by recruiting Alen and a guaranteed Thunder Rune in a chest at the floating fortress in Shasarazade.

Water drive
At the opposite end of the magic spectrum, Water Rune is Healer's Rune selection, especially early. This powerful run can be purchased in Sarady or Seika and can also be released by Dagon enemies found around Kirov. This Rune offers powerful single and multilete-healing magic formulas for Wielder, while allowing them to lower the enemy accuracy with fog. Buying one as soon as possible is good for keeping your party healthy, and you can take advantage of the lowered accuracy when facing large groups of enemies.

Water of kindness |

You can later replace the water run for the flowing rune (dropped by sirens) to access the strongest healing game in the game.
Clone Rune
Clone Rune is a sweet and easy option for characters that benefit their weapons in front of spelling. In exchange for removing the user allows them to deal with double damage to their target. Being unbalanced will lock them from attacking or throwing magic formulas for a tour, but they can still defend and use objects, so use the turns when they cannot attack to get them to heal allies and play support. You can get a Clone Rune from MT Tigerwolf, in a chest on the way up the mountain.
Spark Rune
Spark Rune, which is in a breast in Scarleticia Castle, is a support Lune that raises the speed of all other characters in the party at Rune Bear's speed when using the attack command. This means that players can massively increase their team's speed and ensure that even the slowest of allies can attack first in battle, provided you equip it to someone suitably fast.
Resurrection Rune
Resurrection Rune offers a mixture of harmful and healing magic formulas, and although it does not offer the raw damage to a fire or lightning strike (excluding its final magic formula), nor the healing area in the water run, it has exclusive access to the only magic formula that can get allies back on its feet during the battle. This, in combination with its powerful AOE -injured -Pava, makes it a valuable addition to your team's load.

Scolding |
Divide 70 damage to an enemy. |
Cry |
Revive an ally. |
Scream |
Reset 300 hp to all allies. |
Charm arrow |
Shop 500 damage to all enemies. |
Other runes that offer mixed injury and healing magic include Wind Rune and Cyclone Rune. In particular, Cyclone Rune offers a powerful AOE -injured -stava that also heals the party, which makes it an excellent choice when it becomes available in the late game. (Dropped by Sunshine King enemies and is found in a chest in the SEKE Valley. Crowley also has one equipped when recruited.)
Turtle
Another uncomplicated but powerful support Rune, this prevents the equipped nature from suffering from state effects. Equipping this to someone in the front line and loading them with objects to remove status effects from others is a good safety net against difficult status effects. You can buy the turtle room in the village of the dwarves.
