Silent Hill 2: Eddie Boss Guide

Having only seen the events in the maze, James has one more obstacle to overcome – Eddie.

And Sleepless Zone RE (2nd Loop) is no exception, allowing Anita to return to a crucial time period to capture Michelle and stop her rampage to control the Slitterheads from a brothel. Although she doesn't want to kill her boss, she has to do it to save many people who were victims of her plan.

Start Sleepless Zone RE (2nd Loop)

Picks Anita and Julee for the Sleepless Zone RE (2nd Loop) quest in Slitterhead.

Because this is Anita's assignment, she is one permanent character, meaning she must be your primary rarity. You will, however choose who you want as a companion. For us, we chose julee, like her ability to heal everyone in the area with Revive All pairs well with Anita's playstyle.

Edo would also work here, as Burning Edge will greatly increase her blood weapon damage, which makes her almost unstoppable in most situations. Both are great choices and are our recommendations for completing this mission the first time.

Enter the mafia's hideout

Like you approach the entrance of the mafia hideout you will notice the landscape is completely different, tipping you off that something drastic has changed, like bodies are cut up and thrown around. After observing the carnage, get upstairs and into dimly lit room to find one alone smaller Slitterhead Inside.

Remove this Slitterhead quickly with yours blood weapon, like that will not pose too great a threat, considering it's a smaller version. You can use her skills here, but it shouldn't be necessary. Using Anita's powerful attacks bark spread it's enough that you can basically bully it until it dies.

Continue upstairs

Continue up the stairs and go to the next floor, where it will be even more corpses strewn about. Head down left corridor and begin walk over the pile of bodies to see one silhouette of another smaller Slitterhead on the wall. Like you around the corner, Slitterhead will attack, so be prepared.

Ship this Slitterhead fast and keep pushing forward until you reach the ceiling, where another smaller Slitterhead will be, along with some small ones. Quickly eliminate them as you did the others, then proceed to the next area.

Infiltrate the neighboring building

From here, make sure apartment complex across the street seeing a shirtless man on his balcony; use your possession to take control of him and start navigating through the apartment. The when you leave the room a smaller Slitterhead will be there, so be prepared to fight it.

Although you are not one of your rarities here, using your heavy attack will dispatch this lone Slitterhead quite convincingly. Defeat it quickly and continue pushing through the apartment complex.

Back Into The Hideout

Here is where things are getting sketchy. After you defeat the former Slitterhead, navigate through the apartment until you reach another balcony, then look across the road to find another survivor. Take control of them with your possessions, and fight the little Slitterheads and push forward.

There will be one large room with a single smaller Slitterhead in it and several survivors. Eliminate this Slitterhead like you did the others to have three more drops from the ceiling. Yep. This is where things get real. Although this would not normally be a problem, your rarities will not spread here, so it's more challenging than normal.

Nevertheless, with several other survivors in the room you can use them to use their warcry skill, lure the Slitterheads to them, so you can switch to someone else and perform heavy attacks while mixing in your skills. This may take a while, though repeating this strategy is a surefire way to get out of this encounter alive.

Continue Into The Hideout

With the three lesser Slitterheads defeated, press on and take the elevator up, then follow the corridor to the right to reach the living room. There will be two smaller Slitterheads in this room, but the good news is your rarities will eventually spread i. But you should be able to defeat them quickly using the same method you've been using.

Switch to another survivor, use War Cry, switch back to previous survivor and spam heavy attacks and skills to do lots of free damage. Rinse and repeat until they are dead. While not fast, it is simple, easy to perform and gets the job done.

Almost there

Before proceeding, switch to either Anita or your Companion Rarity, then go out there scaffolding is and run up it and into the upper room of the hideout. As you push further in, you will be ambushed by two Slitterheads. Because you're a rarity, you should be able to take them out no problem.

Keep pushing forward to encounter a smaller Slitterhead and a some small, as you can cut through like butter with your rarity. From here, go down the hall to summon another Slitterhead, except this one has some hands and will fight, so be prepared.

Attempt move to a more open area if you can, as the cramped hall can prove challenging in specific situations. Attempt parrying and guarding its attacks and using Julee's Sonic Claws or Anita's Poison Needles to keep it in check keep using heavy attacks to keep it stunlocked. Use Revive everything if your health is critical, then open the door to trigger a cutscene.

Defeat the Giant Leaf Insect Slitterhead

After the cutscene ends, you will fight against Giant Leaf Insect Slitterhead, which is where Julee really shines. Her heavy attack does massive amounts of damage to it and her Sonic Claws can shift it, so she can get multiple uncontested hits on it. In addition, you can guard and parry its attacks, because they are well telegraphed.

Skimps on his health beyond the first node of its health bar will make it escape by jumping through the window and runs across the rooftops and lets you chase after it.

Chase The Giant Leaf Insect Slitterhead

Start running after Slitterhead until you reach a steep descent with a clothesline far in the distance. Use Blood jump in order to reach it hold the resident on his balcony, and do the same for the next resident. Use Blood jump to get to the big scaffolding so at a distance use possession again to reach a ceiling in the distance.

Now you can start chain owning residents, jumping from one balcony to the next until you reach the roof across from Slitterhead. Well here, climb to the top of the building, then jump down to where Slitterhead is to end the meeting.

Defeat The Giant Leaf Insect Slitterhead, Part Two

Finally you can fight the Giant Leaf Insect Slitterhead for the last time and put it down once and for all. As before, Julee will be the best option for this Slitterhead, that is wait for her to appear and change to her. But before she spawns in, you have to survive with the inhabitants.

We recommendd switch to a random resident, use War Cry, then jump to someone else to attack the distracted Slitterhead and repeat this process until Julee appears. Once she does, check her immediately and start attacking with her Sonic Claws and Anita's Poison Needles.

If you notice the group of people thinning out, use Anita's Devil's Scent to create more inhabitants, giving you more people to switch to if things get out of hand. Use Revive everything if you need health immediately, and unleash your skills when you have them. Rinse and repeat this strategy until the Slitterhead is defeated and you are golden!
