How to defeat The Ancient Goop Monster
Much like the regular Horizon games, you will face tons of bosses in it Lego Horizon Adventure. Most of them are the simple machines you know and love – Thunderjaws and Stalkers, that sort of thing. The final boss of the game is a bit different though.

To get all 100 Gold Bricks in Lego Horizon Adventures, you must complete all Community Jobs. This is how you do it.
At the end of the story, you meet the ancient goop monster, a mass of burning gloop and machinery. This is by far the hardest boss in what is otherwise a fairly simple game. Not only does it have a variety of attacks that are hard to dodge, but it has a huge health bar that is hard to cut down.
Ancient Goop Monster Attacks
Instead of the usual boss fight structure of a few stages, each with different attacks, The Ancient Goop Monster uses the same group of attacks throughout the fight. You have to know how to avoid them and how to see them coming. These attacks are:

Dual fire laser guns |
A large red circle appears around it before it fires two fire beams. The red circle is where the fire will be after the attack, so simply avoid the red circle. |

Rocket bombardment |
You will see three overlapping red circles appear on the ground. The monster fires exploding rockets to land there, so dodge out of the way. |

Vertical firearms |
The Ancient Goop Monster fires two flaming shots forward after two red lines appear on the ground. This is easier to avoid than the circular similar attack. |

Destruction |
It induces bleeding around the area. Touching it will hurt you. |
|
Sludge down |
The monster slams down and sends out a wave of damage that you have to jump over to avoid. |
How to defeat The Ancient Goop Monster
After you learn how to dodge the Ancient Goop Monster's attacks, you need to learn how to actually hurt him. First and foremost, use your Focus to scan the area as soon as the fight starts.
It will show you that you must attack the joints of each of the monster's legs to damage him. You can't do it all the time, so keep scanning and attacking the legs when they glow blue. Once you've attacked all four, the monster will fall over and you can attack it to deal more damage without the threat of attack. Keep doing this until the end of the fight.
However, there is another way to damage the monster. When Blight appears around the arena, attack it. It will also damage the monster.
