How Baldur's Gate 3's Deathstalker Mantle works
Deathstalker Mantle is only available for the dark desire. It is gifted to players as a reward after the decisive event in team 1, where the dark desire takes its first victim. While this works best for classes such as Rogue or Gloomstalker Ranger, SpellCasters or Hybrid BG3 The classes can utilize Deathstalker -Mantle to stay alive longer and control the flow of battle.
Deathstalker Mantle contains disadvantages
Playing as the dark desire means that you miss meeting Alfira in act 2, which some players can find problematic, because she gives the potent mantle as a reward after the player saves the tieflings from the Moonrise tower. This is not a problem on an evil Durge driving, but players who have characters built on charisma, such as a warlock or magician, will miss with the loss of the potent mantle.
