Its strange but compelling combination of rhythm gameplay and RPG mechanics gives its combat a unique flavor, and its low-key graphics make it run like a dream on Switch. For anyone looking for an RPG that doesn't require hundreds of hours, this is one of the very best options out there.

Expectations in 2014 for the new South Park RPGs were about as low as they could possibly have been. Still, the gaming world was caught off guard when South Park: The Stick of Truth arrived and not only wowed, but completely blew away everyone's expectations with the game's loving parody of fantasy RPGs as well as the history of South Park.
In hindsight, it should have been obvious that the venerable Obsidian Entertainment wouldn't release anything less than a great RPG. South Park: The Stick of Truth is perfect for anyone looking for a little more humor in their imagination and wants something that will run as smooth as butter on the Switch. The best of all, it's probably still the best South Park game ever made.

There seems no point in describing what Skyrim is, because there's a very good chance that someone reading this has not only played it, but probably played it a few times. Nevertheless, even still, the latest and most popular entry in the The Elder Scrolls franchise remains culturally relevant and ubiquitous on nearly every platform available.
That includes the Switch, of course. Fixed Skyrim shows its age in some departments, it's hard to deny that its basic charm is still as strong as ever, serving as a comforting throwback to the snowy Nordics that hosted many old memories that navigated many i -games factions and quests. The handheld Switch brings a whole new texture to that experience, and one well worth exploring if already a fan or if the land of Skyrim remains uncharted territory.

If any player has not played Undertale previously, the Switch is a perfect place to do it. Undertale is the opposite of graphically demanding and runs smooth as butter on the older Nintendo hardware. Undertale is a truly unique experience that everyone needs to play if they haven't already.

In the role of the legendary monster hunter Geralt, players are thrown into a vast world as they are tasked with finding their adopted daughter in the middle of a dark fantasy land on the brink of total collapse filled to the brim with secret side missions. Well known for its amazing world building, deep quest structure and incredible writing, it's safe to say that The Witcher 3 is one of the best RPG games released in the last ten years.

With all the QOL improvements of the remaster as well as some improved graphical capabilities, with the classic Dark souls to a PDA is a fantastic experience that works incredibly well. Best of all, it runs smoothly with few technical issues and introduces a whole new audience to the great games from From Software.
