Faye is not alone in her adventure and will be joined by various supporting characters on her journey. The titular Laufey/Faye is played by Deborah Ann Woll, reprising the role from before God of war game. Woll is perhaps best known for her time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Karen Page, who appeared in the Netflix original Daredevil series, various Punisher project, The defendersand the acclaimed reboot Daredevil: Born Again. Her two primary companions in the game are a magical ribbon named Rue and a cosmic cube named Phranque, played by Perlina Lau and Jack Quaid respectively.
Perlina Lau is a producer and actress who has appeared in television series such as Friday night bits and Creamery. Jack Quaid, meanwhile, is best known for his role as Hughie in The boyswhich recently aired its series finale. Quaid's first major film role was in it The Hunger Gamesand for the past five years he has appeared in Scream (2022), Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Oppenheimer, Companionand Novocaineamong other projects.

God of War Laufey will have a variety of villains for Faye and her companions to contend with, with the gods Sekhmet and Begtse particularly highlighted in the gameplay presentation. Unfortunately, it wasn't revealed who will be playing these characters in the game, so fans will have to wait for more information on that front. There will likely be other villains involved God of War Laufey too, so there's still a lot more to learn about the game.
Kratos and Atreus were both seen in God of War Laufey game presentation, and they will presumably be played by Christopher Judge and Sunny Suljic again, although it is unclear whether their performances will strictly use old material or feature new recordings. A lot is kept under wraps when it comes to God of War Laufeyand so fans have to wait for more information. A specific release window was not announced, but it is believed God of War Laufey will be released within the next few years.
