Forza Horizon 6 has no shortage of money and XP farming techniques, but one in particular could very well be considered cheating with how easy it is. An extremely content-heavy game with tons of post-launch content already planned, Forza Horizon 6 cannot be completed or “won” just by hoarding a huge amount of resources as early as possible, but that hasn't stopped some players from trying.
Outside of some extremely limited resources, which Forza Horizon 6 Premium Car Vouchers, the game's economy is actually incredibly lax. Players are basically showered with credits and XP for doing just about anything, from taking pictures of cars to driving on new roads. Still, there are ways to optimize this process further than developer Playground Games might have intended. It is perhaps predictable that something like this would happen via the new and improved EventLab feature.

Forza Horizon 6 players break the game's economy using custom events
Forza Horizon 6 players have figured out the absolute most optimal way to collect game credits and XP using custom EventLab maps. Creators like YouTuber XMBWesley basically upload custom tracks with a large number of breakables that stack up the driver's Skill Point multipliers and end the event with a high credit payout. The method can be further optimized by using specific vehicles with special benefits, as well as enabling auto-drive functions such as automatic steering and assisted driving. The end result is a situation where the game plays itself, and buy Forza Horizon 6s most expensive cars become trivial after a certain time.

An obvious downside to XMBWesley's method is that players can't actually play Forza Horizon 6 while the events unfold by themselves. Players who want to give this method a try can upload the map codes 121,812,769, or 197,337,317, and it takes about 40 minutes for the race to play for a score of about 100,000 points and a bunch of Skill Points and other goodies like Wheelspins. Note that while Playground Games may fix this method at some point, there are other ways to get XP and money quickly Forza Horizon 6 which are less likely to get the attention of developers.
Of course, Playground Games has worked with Forza EventLab in mind for years now, and there's probably no way the team didn't expect the player base to come up with a very efficient way to extract resources from custom events. The fact that players can't enjoy the game while the events play out on their own is a pretty big drawback in itself, and the game doesn't miss a chance to reward interaction and progression. With that in mind, it's possible that Playground will prioritize other concerns over overly profitable EventLab farming, such as Forza Horizon 6s ghost town Car Meets.

As one of the best games of 2026 so far, Forza Horizon 6 attracts players who otherwise might not have been interested in racing games or car culture at all. This means that it is likely that some players will opt for less active farming methods like those described above, rather than actually trying to earn every single credit they have. EventLab's flexibility makes this possible, and while it's within reason that Playground might ban these practices at some point, it probably doesn't detract from the game's core appeal, and the FOMO-heavy seasonal releases are sure to keep players coming back for more for a while yet.
