Besides being one of the most beloved shonen series of the past few decades, Firepower franchise has become well known among fans for its amazing fight scenes. The series found a way to use a unique concept, pyrokinesis, and use it as the basis for a complete and complex power system. Each of the most powerful characters in this outstanding series has powerful signature abilities that fans love because of how cool and awesome they are.

Still, while several of these techniques deserve the attention of fans for their impressive strength, there are only a handful of special attacks and abilities that defy Firepowers power wave. In a world where most fighters rely on devastating fire attacks to defeat their opponents, seeing a fighter who can't produce any fire on his own can cause enemies to underestimate him. Sadly, those who dare to look down on Charon may soon regret it, as his stamp technique would completely surpass most opponents.

Instead of relying on his own strength, this imposing human would absorb kinetic energy from any object or living thing that touched him. This means that any attack, fire blast, or even object thrown at him would slowly recharge him. After gathering enough power, he could imbue his attacks with massive amounts of energy, making a single one of his attacks enough to defeat a target.

Considered by most fans to be one of the best written villains in the series, Haumea is a special case even among the standout fighters in Firepower. Instead of flames, her primary means of fighting relies on her deep understanding and absolute control of electricity. As such, it's no surprise that she can also tap into the energy that controls a target's mind, a technique also known as Motor Head.

By manipulating the electricity produced by the neurons and synapses in a target's brain, Haumea could control their movements, emotions, and even their thoughts. Thanks to this ability, Haumea could easily assemble an army to fight on her behalf, or even manipulate an opponent into turning against her allies, though an individual's mental strength could dampen the effects.

Adola Grace is the ultimate power boost in Fire Force

Born out of humanity's fears, concerns and collective consciousness, Adolla is an alternate dimension inhabited by god-like beings who could manipulate reality to their whims. If any human was capable of serving a favor or catching the attention of one of these beings, they could perform a technique known as Adola Grace, a bond between their souls that gave the human a significant power boost.

This rare ability was only given to a few characters in the series, but there was no doubting how effective it could be in battle. An Adola Grace could transform an otherwise ordinary fighter into a powerhouse and give them an artificial evolution not only in their physical abilities but also in their signature abilities. Although not an offensive technique per se, it is one of the most sought after and useful.

Despite not being an active fighter, Sister Iris was one of the most capable teammates any fighter had Firepower anime could hope for. Although her positive and kind personality played a role in this outcome, it was her special technique, Iris Divine Protection, that caused most characters to seek her help before heading out onto the battlefield.

Anyone blessed with this skill, including Iris herself, would become impervious to any kind of flames or fire-based attacks. Those granted the Sister's Favor would become virtually unstoppable, as no attacks, other than direct physical blows, would have any effect on them. This skill combines the destructive properties of the Sun Wheel, an ability that creates an explosive sun-like ball of energy, with the elegance and precision of the Crimson Moon's deadly ring of fire. This technique requires Benimaru to touch the opponent and give them enough power to cause them to burst into flames while their bodies rapidly disintegrate.

The Severed Universe gives Sho the power of a Time God

Unlike most fans have to imagine, having absolute control over the environment and its temperature, as most characters in the franchise have, comes with many perks. Still, none of them are as broken and impressive as Severed Universe, the signature ability of Shinra's brother, Sho Kusakabe. When used, this technique begins to absorb the energy from the surrounding area, creating a wide radius of absolute zero.

Due to the lack of energy for the particles to move with, time seems to freeze around Sho, whose innate resistance to the technology allows him to continue moving at a regular speed. Achieved only by Shinrabanshoman, the divine being born from the fusion of Shinra, Sho and their mother Mari, the Power of All Creation is an all-powerful technique that gives the user complete control over the universe. This ability requires the caster to imagine the ideal world they wish to live in, and use the power of Adolla's realm to make it come true.

Shinrabanshoman used this overwhelmed skill to recreate the world after the devastating final battle of the series, restoring the entire planet to one where all fear and despair turned to hope. There were seemingly no limits other than the user's imagination to this technique, as the deity could not only recreate the world, but also rewrite the laws of nature to feed the Soul Eater's universe.
