Within it all Dragon Ball franchise, the villains this series has introduced are easily some of the best and most iconic in the entire anime industry. Although often simplistic in nature in terms of motivation and action, these enemies have served as the basis for antagonists in the genre in general.

As such, not every major enemy that the heroes have faced can be directly called a villain, as this title implies that one is evil rather than simply serving an opposite role to the main characters, as Beerus, Jiren or Broly did in their arcs. With this in mind, let's go over the most evil moment of all the great villains in Dragon Ball story.

King Piccolo killed the Eternal Dragon

Arc: King Piccolo Saga

King Piccolo is considered by many fans to be the major overall antagonist of the original Dragon Ball series, and his effect on the franchise is still felt to this day. Although he committed many unspeakable acts, his most evil moment came when he killed Shenron immediately after having his wish to regain his youth granted. This was quite an outrageous act as it not only killed the legendary Eternal Dragon Shenron, but it also rendered the Dragon Balls useless, meaning that no one could be resurrected anymore.

Vegeta destroyed an entire planet

Although Vegeta would eventually transform into one of the series' greatest heroes, there was a time when he was a ruthless and merciless villain. At the beginning of the Saiyan Saga, before he even arrives on Earth, Vegeta is seen leaving a planet with Nappa, which he then proceeds to destroy for seemingly no reason other than that it “has a bug problem”. This becomes even more terrifying when you remember that the inhabitants of this planet even referred to the Saiyans as heroes.

Easily one of the most iconic and important moments in the entire franchise is Frieza's destruction of Planet Vegeta, which can be seen as the official catalyst for everything that ended up happening. Being incredibly afraid of a potential Saiyan uprising and, even more so, of the legend of the Super Saiyan, Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta, mercilessly erasing an entire race of humans and inadvertently starting the series as we know it.

The androids destroyed the future timeline

The entire Android Saga began due to Future Trunks traveling back in time to stop the threat of the Androids before they could awaken and reduce the entire world to ruin. In his own timeline, these Androids were unstoppable monsters that laid waste to everyone and everything on the planet, even mercilessly killing Trunks' mentor and best friend, Future Gohan. This was one of the most awkward and tragic moments to witness in the entire series.

Cell massacred the entire population of Ginger Town

Although Cell would only later become much stronger to become one of the series' best villains, his most evil moment came with his debut in his grotesque original form. Here, Piccolo entered a completely abandoned and abandoned Ginger Town, where the roads were completely empty and littered with clothes, trash, and crashed cars. Eventually, Cell was revealed to be the cause of this, as he had absorbed all of these people with his tail and liquefied them to leave nothing but their garments.

Perhaps the most terrifying example of his plan was when he used Goku's body to kill Chichi and Goten, causing them to die believing that Goku himself committed this horror.

Moro was introduced as an old threat within Universe 7 that had resurfaced to wreak havoc. This villain's main ability was to steal the energy and life force of other living beings and absorb it into himself, making him incredibly powerful and allowing him to live an unnaturally long life. As Moro escapes from the Galactic Patrol Prison, Moro proceeds to absorb the life force of entire planets, leaving them completely lifeless and killing an untold number of living creatures.

Although Gas was the main villain in the Granolah arc and served as the ultimate enemy that Goku, Vegeta, and Granolah had to stop, his true most evil moment had nothing to do with his fighting ability. Gas and his siblings were Heeters, who essentially acted as intermediaries between Frieza and the various races that the Frieza Force would sell their conquered planets to, making them complicit in all the atrocities. With Gas as the main muscle of the group, he was quite guilty himself.

Cell Max went on a destructive rampage

As the big bad guy in the Super Hero arc, Cell Max is remembered as yet another mindless beast whose entire purpose was just to destroy everything in front of him. Although he didn't have a particularly evil moment in him due to his sparse appearance in the story, his sheer destructive output made him a true force of terror. He even indirectly led to the death of Gamma 2 and caused untold destruction.
