The One Piece the world has several incredible powers, but the two that stand at the top are Devil Fruit abilities and Haki. The latter, in particular, is a unique form of spiritual energy found in all living beings in the world. But only a select few go on to awaken this power. Under the right circumstances, the two basic types of Haki— the color of the arms and the color of observation — can be awakened by anyone, while the third type, known as Suit of the highest kingis something you are born with.
Over the years, Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piecehas shown quite a few powerful Haki users, with the strongest of them all being Joy Boy, who appears in Chapter 1123 of the Egghead arc. However, Joy Boy is long dead, and currently Nerona Imu stands tall as the most powerful Conqueror's Haki user, especially after analyzing his latest Haki feat in One Piece chapter 1181.
Breaking Down Imu's Newest Supreme King Haki Feat
Nerona Imu has access to the power of Akuma no Mi or The Devil's Fruit. This fruit is one of the most overpowered god abilities available in the world of One Piece, but Imu has more than just that at her disposal. He also has very powerful Haki, which was first demonstrated upon his descent into Elbaf in Chapter 1179. Immediately upon his arrival, Imu unleashed a massive bolt of Haki, causing quite a few giants, as well as giant children, to faint instantly. The strength of this Haki was absurd, according to Loki and Luffy, and this alone makes Imu one of the strongest Supreme King Haki users in One Piece.
To take things a step further, Eiichiro Oda showed off Imu's Haki in the official release of One Piece Chapter 1181 again, available on Manga Plus. In the battle against Loki, Nerona Imu displayed his immense capabilities in battle, but after being reminded of Joy Boy, he became enraged and released a powerful bolt of Haki. This Haki was felt throughout the land of Elbaf. In the past, even Scopper Gaban has said that Imu's Haki surpassed anything he had felt on God Valley, confirming that it was greater than Rocks, Roger, Garp, and even the version of Imu that was on the island 38 years ago through Saturn.
Must eat more! I've never felt anything like it before! It's so heavy and hard! What's with this guy's Haki? — Monkey D. Luffy, One Piece chapter 1181
When Nerona Imu unleashed her powerful Haki in Chapter 1181 of the Elbaf Arc, Monkey D. Luffy specifically commented on the strength of the Haki he felt. According to Luffy, in the last chapter, Nerona Imus' Haki is unlike anything he has ever known before. This is a direct confirmation from the author of the fact that Imus Haki surpasses Kaidos and the Five Elders that Luffy fought against Egghead. This also means that among all the characters that Luffy fought against, Imu has the strongest Haki.

Eiichiro Oda officially makes Imu the strongest Conqueror's Haki user alive
In order to be considered an elite Haki user, some important conditions must be met first, as illustrated by Eiichiro Oda in his story:
-
For it to be a solo sky split
-
For this Haki to knock out strong individuals, such as those on the same level as the Vice Admirals.
-
For Haki to be so strong that the elite of the One Piece world begin to feel intimidation and fear.
Was that Haki even stronger than Red Hair's? There was no hostility towards it! — Dorry and Brogy on Shanks's Haki, One Piece Chapter 1123
When Joy Boy unleashed his powerful Conqueror's Haki in Chapter 1122 in the Egghead Arc, all of these conditions were met, which is why Joy Boy is canonically the strongest Haki user in One Piece. Nerona Imu did something similar in One Piece Chapter 1181, making him the strongest Haki user alive in the Elbaf arc. Although Imu didn't split the sky on his own, his Haki made the likes of Scopper Gaban and Luffy sweat in fear. On top of that, it knocked out some very strong members of the Giant Warrior Pirates. Most notably, both Gaban and Luffy commented on the possessed strength of this Haki in chapters 1180 and 1181 respectively.

How Imu's Ambition backs up his Haki
Of all the Haki users that Oda has shown and developed properly in the Final Saga so far, Nerona Imu stands at the top, and this makes sense based on how Haki really works. At its core, Eiichiro Oda explains Haki as pure ambition and willpower in chapter 596. It is said that Supreme King Haki is only practiced by those who have royal ambitions. Nerona Imu is the king of the world, and kings don't get bigger than that. In that sense, it's understandable why Eiichiro Oda gave Imu the strongest Haki in the Final Saga.
