What's new in the MONOPOLY GO x The Simpsons season
MONOPOLY GOES have collaborated with The Simpsons to create an entire seasonal crossover event that temporarily changes almost every major part of the game. You'll see Springfield-style boards, character-inspired events, and themed rewards throughout the game.
Nothing about the basic gameplay changes. You still roll dice, build and progress as normal. The difference is that everything around now looks and feels like it came straight out of the Simpsons universe.
Episode sticker sets, explained
One of the biggest additions this season is the Episode Sticker Sets. These are separate from the main sticker album and rotate every two weeks. Each set contains nine themed decals along with unique cosmetics that can only be unlocked during the active period.
When an episode set expires, the stickers attached to it are gone. You won't be able to get them again, so if you want to complete them you have to be active during that time.
The rewards are mostly cosmetics and bonus items, so they're optional, but they're a nice extra challenge if you like to collect everything. Players who complete sets more than once will unlock extra rewards.
These sets do not affect your main album progress. They're basically extra goals for players who want more rewards and customization throughout the season.
The Simpsons Run, Explained
Another fun addition is something called The Simpsons Run. Sometimes, when you land in free parking, a Springfield character will appear and trigger a special mini-mode. Instead of the regular board, the game switches to a track-style minigame.

Monopoly GO: Best strategies to use
Here are some top tips for Monopoly Go fans to help them conquer the casual mobile game.
In this mode, you move along a set route instead of the normal board flow. You will use special dice, avoid small obstacles and try to reach the finish line while collecting as many rewards as possible.
It's basically a short, quick bonus round that feels different from the regular gameplay.
Bribe Wiggum Jail Feature, Explained
Prison isn't just a waiting area anymore this season. Now, when you land in jail, you can try something called the Muta Wiggum feature. Instead of just bailing or waiting it out, try a risky interaction with Chief Wiggum.
It acts as a chance-based mini-event. Depending on your result, you may get different results:
-
You can manage to get away with rewards
-
You may fail and receive a penalty such as bail or forfeiture
-
Or you might still get some money even if the bribe doesn't work fully
-
It's a bit of luck, a bit of risk and makes Jail more interesting than before.
Springfield Monorail Heists and Shutdowns
Railroad tiles have now been re-themed as Springfield Monorail for this season. This change affects Shutdown, Bank Heist, and Mega Heist events, which now feature Simpsons-inspired animations and visuals.
Although the game mechanics are the same, the presentation makes them feel fresh again. You still attack or steal as normal, but everything is wrapped in Simpsons-style animations and visuals.
Chance cards and community poll
This season adds over 50 Simpsons themed chance cards. They include jokes, references and effects inspired by the show.
What makes it more interesting is that the community actually gets to help select some of them. Players vote through Discord, and some of the cards are chosen based on those votes. So in a way, the community helps shape some of the gameplay during the season.
There is also a special Community History event called Billionaire Beef. There is a playful rivalry between Mr. Monopoly and Mr. Burns. Players choose sides and complete weekly challenges to support their chosen character.
These challenges usually reward things like dice rolls, sticker packs, and other bonuses. It's mostly about community participation and provides a fun, competitive twist off the main board.
We recommend that you are active on the official Monopoly GO Discord server, as new community challenges happen every week. You also get the chance to trade stickers with others Monopoly GO player.
