Borderland 4 looks like it will take back Lilith

Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Borderland's 4 would have its own play exhibition from Playstation, which gave us a deep dive into the game's battle and other game features. We got to see lots of fights that showed new weapons, some exploration and new activities that dot the game's open world.

Whether it is a betrayal or a Goty challenger, Borderland's 4 will be fascinating to discuss.

For starters, one of the largest new additions seems to be a variety of new movement mechanics that help you lighten around the world. Not only do you have a slide, which you can use to slowly descend from the top of high areas, but there will also be points where you can climb the rocks. In addition, you also have a personal vehicle that you can call at any time, so that no more sprints back to vehicle points.

We also got to see the ability of two of the game's arches, which is the ex-edor soldier Rafa and a new siren named Vex. The latter can strengthen itself with their abilities or call deadly minions to fight with her, while the former can digist a variety of weapons, whether it is weapons or leaves.

One of the more interesting aspects of this little exhibition, however, was how often it was referred to Lilith, a fan favorite character that has been with the series since day one, and mysterious way disappeared at the end of Borderlands 3. While we never see her, characters make many references to her, and the assignment that appears in the event even has a “find lilith”. Sure to say, our girl is back.

Finally, it is worth noting that Borderland's 4's release date was recently moved up a bit, as the game will now be launched on September 12. It is not often that we see a game as massive as this moved forward, with most of them going back instead, although it has happened earlier when a publisher wanted to avoid launching next to something big.

However, this does not appear to be the case this time, as Randy Pitchford has emphasized that the date was not transferred over scheduling of clashes, and that it is simply because “everything goes a kind of best case” during development. So if you were to whip out your tin foil hat and start pelling the GTA 6 release date conspiracy theories, you must put them away for now.
