Naruto Uzumaki stands tall as one of the strongest ninjas in history; however Boruto the series has come with several nerfs that have significantly reduced his combat ability. In Boruto Chapter 55, Naruto Uzumaki officially lost Kurama on January 9, 2024.
With his greatest source of power lost, Naruto Uzumaki must now turn to other abilities to keep up with the strongest of the current era. While one would assume that Naruto is far too weak to compete with those at the top of the current era, the Seventh Hokage actually has a couple of powerful new jutsu that can help him take down even the most overpowered villains in a single hit.
After the loss of Kurama, Naruto's new strongest Jutsu is the Super Ultra Big Ball Rasengan
When Naruto Uzumaki had Kurama, he had access to a plethora of incredibly powerful techniques. Using the power of Six Paths Sage Mode, Naruto was able to incorporate the chakra of the Tailed Beasts into his abilities and create powers such as the Six Paths: Lava Release Rasenshuriken, which he used in the battle against Delta in Boruto Chapter 32, which was released on February 25, 2019. Naruto was also able to use incredibly powerful jutsu such as Baryon Mode, which made its debut in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 51 October 20, 2020.

With such incredible powers, Naruto Uzumaki was practically unstoppable, but after losing Kurama, he had to hone his other skills. Right now, Naruto Uzumaki's powers have been upgraded significantly with the use of a new Sage Mode, which was officially confirmed in Boruto Chapter 64 on November 19, 2021.
Using this incredibly powerful Sage Mode, Naruto Uzumaki is able to use his new strongest jutsu, and that is the Ultra Super Ultra Big Ball Rasengan. This new jutsu first debuted in the battle against Delta in Boruto Chapter 33 on March 25, 2019. While Naruto's Rasengan has always been absolutely huge, the Super Ultra Big Ball Rasengan is the strongest and largest he has ever created. The fact that it was able to overwhelm Delta's chakra absorption and essentially put her on the brink of death means that this technique can even work on Otsutsuki level individuals.

While Naruto may appear weak on the surface, the fact remains that he has yet to engage in any high level combat since losing Kurama. This means that his strength can continue to surprise us when it is revealed later. With abilities like the Super Ultra Big Ball Rasengan, Naruto was able to take down Delta, meaning characters like Kinshiki should also fall for this technique. Others, like Code, probably won't be able to survive this technique either, making it a terrifying ability Naruto wields with great precision.

Naruto's huge chakra reserve can still kill most enemies in one hit
Despite losing the power of Kurama, Naruto Uzumaki still has huge chakra reserves. This is due to his Uzumaki bloodline, which is known to be particularly strong, but also because Kurama's chakra was assimilated into Naruto's over the years. Even though Kurama is no longer there, the chakra exists as Naruto's own, and while he has certainly taken a hit when it comes to his chakra reserves, what he has is still far greater than the vast majority of shinobi out there. With such huge chakra reserves, Naruto Uzumaki can still create thousands and thousands of clones and use techniques like the Super Ultra Big Ball Rasengan.

At the same time, he may be able to use a blocking version of this technique, ensuring that not even the strongest of enemies can stand in his way, especially when powered by his newly enhanced Sage Mode. With Boruto: Two Blue Vortex now approaching its most exciting parts, the return of Naruto Uzumaki is now also on the horizon. This return means that he will once again have the opportunity to fight on the front lines against the powerful enemies, such as Otsutsuki and Shinju, if any still survive. Why Naruto's enhanced Sage Mode can give him even stronger Jutsu
A very interesting thing to note is that Naruto Uzumaki's Sage Mode is incredibly powerful right now. He has officially upgraded this technique, extending its time limit while improving its overall power level. When Naruto returns, his Sage Art Jutsu will be on a completely different level. Given that he now has full control over the five nature transformations, Naruto can also use techniques that Jiraiya once used, such as the Sage Art: Bath of Boiling Oil. Similarly, Naruto can also power up his Earth Release, which he debuted in the fight against Boruto Uzumaki in Chapter 16 on September 11, 2017, and other nature transformation techniques at the same time.
Most importantly, Naruto can also expand his arsenal of weapons by incorporating powerful Genjutsu into it. Jiraiya's Sage Art: Toad Confrontation Song Genjutsu was strong enough to take out multiple parts of Pain at once. This Genjutsu could now also be incorporated by Naruto into his arsenal, giving him access to more incredible abilities. For now, Naruto's return will have to wait as Sasuke is first in line to make a comeback in the upcoming Hidari arc. As Sasuke makes a comeback, Naruto will also make a comeback eventually, and only then will he get a chance to strut his stuff again on the biggest stage.
