A Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 players online have discovered a creative use of the Chopper Gunner scorestreak, proving to be of great help to their teammates in the process. The Chopper Gunner is usually used to rain down death from above Call of Duty: Black Ops 6but that's not the only way it can benefit players.
The Chopper Gunner is by far one of the best scoring streaks in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's multiplayer. Not only does it tell players exactly where their opponents are with a huge red indicator, but it also has a big gun that can kill those enemies in an instant. Players must accumulate 1600 points in a single life before they can use the Chopper Gunner, which is why it is so rare to see in matches. But given the potential reward for ringing one in, it's always worth having as an active streak for any player good enough to potentially earn 1600 points.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 players are having serious issues with Nuketown Point B
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 online players share their serious grievances with the chaotic Domination capture point B at Nuketown.
Redditor nothing_in shared their gameplay clip, where they used their Chopper Gunner to shoot down an enemy Chopper Gunner that was already active and wreaking havoc. When one player claimed they “didn't even know you could do that,” another responded, “Neither did the other guy.” It's a very creative way to use the powerful scoring streak, especially when time could have been used to improve theirs Black Ops 6 Elim/Death ratio by farming their opponents.
Black Ops 6 players use the Chopper Gunner to shoot down another Chopper Gunner
The problem with using the Chopper Gunner scorestreak on Black Ops 6s version of Nuketown is that it can often mark the end of any real competitive challenge in that particular match. The spawn on the map is largely outside, so when one player uses a Chopper Gunner, it's extremely easy for them to spawn trap others, essentially stalling the match until the streak is gone. The speed of the kills makes it almost impossible to pull out any sort of launcher and get a shot off as well. This means that in many cases, players will simply exit the game when caught by a Chopper Gunner, as it can result in a big hit to the Elimination/Death ratio. That's why nothing_in has done his team a service here.
With season 1 of Black Ops 6 now well underway, there is plenty of great content for players to look forward to. A new Zombies map will be released on December 5th, and hopefully there will be more multiplayer maps as well. Treyarch has yet to confirm if any new scoring streaks will be added to the game in future content drops, though they'll have to be pretty powerful if they're going to compete with Chopper Gunner.
