Back in my day, we used to 1v1 people on Rust in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Not so Modern Warfare 2, we're talking about the OG Modern Warfare 2, complete with Eminem hype videos.
That said, this was back in 2009, and by our count that was 15 years ago, which makes us really old, even though Call of Duty as a franchise still continues to this day.
As a result, our reflexes aren't what they used to be and TTK (time to kill) feels shorter and shorter, leaving us pretty washed up when it comes to first person multiplayer shooters. That's especially true in Battlefield 6, the latest entry in COD's most serious competitor.
But fear not, because some kind people, who are also apparently old, have created an “Old Men” playlist where we can all relive our glory days without dying to the youth.
Wait, Unc still has it
Over on Battlefield 6's portal, where people have tried to recreate some of Call of Duty's most iconic maps and even tried to create XP farms, much to EA's dismay, is a playlist titled “Old Men Rush – Small Teams Double Health.”
“For a slower tempo for an older generation,” read the playlist's description.
It cycles through six maps: Siege of Cairo, Empire State, Manhattan Bridge, Liberation Peak, Iberian Offensive and New Sobek City. It also gives full XP, so you're not at a disadvantage.
Surprisingly, that's not the only “Old Men” playlist available to players in BF6. There's also an “Old Men & Bots” server, one just for “Old Men” against bots, and even one in German that's an “Over-49 server for all those who've had a long day at work and just want to blast some bots. No stress, just a relaxed blast,” according to a machine translation.
That is, if you feel old and out of place in Battlefield 6, then your fellow old men have your back in several languages.
