Battlefield 6 Details New Season 1 Maps and Modes

Battlefield 6 has offered a glimpse of its upcoming Season 1 offerings in a brand new trailer. The new movie shows the new maps and modes that will be available in Battlefield 6Season 1, which begins on October 28.

Battlefield 6 Blackwell Fields

The content of season 1 of Battlefield 6 was only revealed before its release. It will be rolled out in three different stages. Rogue Ops is up first, arriving right at the start of Season 1 on October 28th. California Resistance will follow on November 18th and Winter Offensive will wrap things up on December 9th. Now, in a new trailer, players get their first look at everything they can expect to see from Season 1.

Explosive Battlefield 6 Trailer Reveals Season 1 Maps, Modes, and Weapons

The new Season 1 trailer begins by showing footage from Blackwell Fields, the first new one Battlefield 6 the map arrives in Rogue Ops on October 28th. The map appears to have a very vehicle-heavy approach, with plenty of open space for players to engage in vehicular combat. Despite not arriving until California Resistance releases on November 18th, the Eastwood map also makes an appearance in the new trailer. This seems to focus a bit more on suburban combat, with battles on the streets and in homes. Despite this, there still seems to be plenty of vehicle games at Eastwood.

The reveal also introduces two new ones Battlefield 6 game modes for Season 1, the first of which is Strikepoint. This 4v4 game mode is one life per round, a huge change of pace from the usual Battlefield 6 experience. Strikepoint will be released in the first wave of content on October 28th. Then there's Sabotage, an 8v8 game mode that comes with California Resistance, where players must destroy equipment crates scattered around the map. There are even some new weapons for players to use, including the SOR-300C Carbine, the Mini Fix Sniper Rifle, and the GGH-22 Sidearm.

Battlefield 6 Eastwood

In addition to new content, Battlefield Studios has been working hard on minor tweaks to improve Battlefield 6 experience. Recently, the developer got nervous Battlefield 6 XP bot farming, with additional changes to the path to progression to ensure it is more rewarding for players. Expect these types of small changes to continue, even as Battlefield 6 Season 1 launches on October 28.
