Baldur's Gate 3 has given us some of the most beloved characters in video game history. Each of them is so well rounded and clearly defined that society is divided into which of them is a clear favorite. While the characters and actors have become extremely popular in the industry, unfortunately, it seems that Baldur's Gate 3 has not really increased their career opportunities.

It's time to admit Baldur's Gate 3 opening is now as iconic as Skyrim
Breaking away from Nautiloid is up there wakes up in a mysterious trolley.
We would all set in a heartbeat if we got a chance to meet Neill Newbon, Samantha Béart, Jennifer English, Dave Jones and the rest, but according to the actors themselves, casting do not do exactly the same. Sure, their names are better known now, but they have revealed that the game's success has not exactly translated into their career in general.
Baldur's Gate 3 Cast's careers have not taken off as you would think
Samantha Béart (Karlach), Theo Solomon (Wyll) and Dave Jones (Halsin), spoke with everyone in the game at Heroes at Heroes Dutch Comic Con, was asked about how Baldur's Gate 3 changed his career. While the three were grateful for the amount of fame it got them with fans, the sober reality is that their career seems relatively unaffected.
“We had no idea that this game would blow up this way, so traveling and making these conventions is fantastic,” Solomon said. “People who fly around the world to meet us and things, it's fantastic, so I'm just very humble.

Now is the perfect time to play about Baldur's Gate 3, and this time I mean that
If you are considering going back to Baldur's Gate 3, the last note is a perfect apology.
“[It’s been] Two years on the run, and the lines will not be shorter, which scares me, “Béart added.” Since when this first came out, we thought “okay, that's good, it will do well”, not “it will do exceptionally good”.
But Béart said that even though the actors have succeeded and recognized in the video game industry, casting managers from the film and the TV industries still have no idea who they are.
“I think there is an assumption that we are all super busy and sorted and rich, and none of these things are true,” she explained. “In the UK it is interesting, we work through third -party studios much of the time and much of the time they do not really participate in this culture. Much of the time they go for sure, you are a big shot, of course you are”, and you have to add the award nominations on the table and they go “Oh, I know what it is, so I'll give you a chance”.

We deserve to see more Wyll in Baldur's Gate 3
He is a fantastic character with just a little too much of his story left on the cutting room floor. Let's give him his flowers!
“So there is a connection, while I believe with developers and fans … It's a weird, because there is a bit in the middle, the people who record us in the middle, which may not be so au fait with all this, how popular [it is]. But the fans and Devs want a lot to have us in their work, I think, but it is NDA'ED up to eyeballs, this industry, so it is very difficult to get the transparency you get in film and television. And you don't see our faces much of the time. “
Solomon Added, “You do a game which is as big as this and everyone's like 'oh, you made it man, you must be gotting all the huge jobs', but no, it's still the life of an actor, you are still going up for jobs, you are still. Incredible for all of us, but you know, actors, we are in and out of work constantly, that's the kind of career it is. “
“I know there have been many winners of the Performance Awards where the phones just haven't called for months afterwards,” Solomon revealed. “It can be quite surprising for some people, but us actors, we are used to rejection and attacks of periods where we just don't work.”
