The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales launches on June 18, 2026, meaning those still tossing around the idea of pre-ordering it are running out of time to make that decision. To be clear, Elliot's Adventures doesn't have the most complicated pre-order situation in the world, but with a few different versions floating around and an opportunity to get some unique pre-order bonuses, it's something players might find worth looking into.
The biggest thing to know is that Elliot's Adventures has more than one standard edition. There is a Digital Deluxe Edition with additional in-game accessories, an Amazon-exclusive physical edition with a double-sided poster, a Square Enix Store Collector's Edition with physical bonus items, and a separate Collector's Goods Box that does not actually contain the game. With launch just around the corner, here's what comes with each version of Elliot's Adventureswhether players should pre-order the game and where they can, and what extras they can get for buying it before its release.

New Square Enix game looks absolutely incredible and it now has a release date
Square Enix's stunning HD-2D RPG The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales finally has a release date, and it's quickly becoming one to watch.
The Adventures of Elliot Pre-order information and bonuses
The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is available to pre-order through most of the major retailers players would expect, although the available platforms and editions may vary depending on where they purchase it. Square Enix's own store is the main place to look for the Collector's Edition, while retailers like Amazon, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and GameStop are mostly there for regular physical copies. Digital pre-orders are also available through each platform's storefront, so players have a few different ways to make sure they have Elliot's Adventures ready for launch in June 2026.

For most players, where they pre-order Elliot's Adventures will probably depend on what platform they plan to play it on. Anyone purchasing a physical copy can find the game on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2 via Amazon, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, GameStop and the Square Enix Store, while digital buyers can go via the Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store, Xbox Store or Steam. PC gamers also have Steam as the clearest option, with both the Standard Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition listed ahead of launch.
Pre-order Elliot's Adventures is primarily worth noting because of Elliot's Departure Pack, which is included as an early purchase bonus. The bundle comes with the Departure Brooch accessory and the Attack Up sword magicite, giving players a little head start as their adventure in the Square Enix RPG begins. Best Buy's listing says that the departure brooch increases the amount of currency and magicite fragments dropped by enemies, while the Attack Up sword magicite increases sword attack, so the bonus is definitely useful but still doesn't seem like something that can make or break a purchase.
The Adventures of Elliot Premium and other editions
There are a few different versions of Elliot's Adventures available in addition to the standard edition, although most players will probably choose between the regular edition and the Digital Deluxe Edition. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the base game and a Digital Deluxe Edition Pack, which comes with three additional accessories: Fairy Bangle, Cherry Blossom Anklet, and Roselle Ring. It's basically the version for players who want a few extra items in the game without jumping all the way up to the Collector's Edition.
There's also the Amazon-exclusive physical edition, which is worth separating from the regular physical copy of the game sold elsewhere. As for the game itself, it appears to be the same standard edition, but Amazon's version includes a double-sided poster. Since Amazon is listing this version for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2, it might be the better physical option for gamers who already planned to buy the game through Amazon anyway.
The Adventures of Elliot Collector's Edition
The Collector's Edition is obviously the biggest version of the Elliot's Adventuresand it's the one meant for gamers who want more than just some digital gaming accessories. It is exclusive to the Square Enix Store and costs $229.99, however, and there are a limited number of them. As such, players interested in purchasing one may want to do so sooner rather than later. If the game manages to be successful enough after launch, its Collector's Edition could sell out pretty quickly after that.

A copy of The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales
-
Digital Deluxe upgrade code
-
The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales Original Soundtrack
-
Faie and the Door of Time desk clock
There is also a separate Collector's Goods Box, but buyers must pay close attention to it. It includes the game's original soundtrack and a Faie and the Door of Time desk clock, but does not include the game or the Digital Deluxe Upgrade code. Those who want the full package should look at the Collector's Edition itself, while the Collector's Goods Box is mainly for players who are already planning to buy the game elsewhere.
With all this in mind, Elliot's Adventures isn't really a difficult game to pre-order, but it's one where buyers should know what they're getting before choosing a version. Most players will probably be fine with the standard edition, especially if they only care about playing the game on June 18th. However, those who want a bit more can look at the Digital Deluxe Edition, Amazon's physical version is the one with the poster, and the Collector's Edition is for anyone willing to spend a lot more for the soundtrack and watch. As long as players pay attention to what each version actually contains, they should have no problem finding the right one before launch.
