Dungeons & Dragons players familiar with Faerun will know how many famous characters have traveled these lands. Baldur's Gate 3 players will recognize Astarion, Shadowheart, and Karlach. Storyteller adventurers will recognize Faerun as the place Drizzt Do'Urden and his family have traveled to for some grand adventures.
Since Faerun is known for epic adventurers going on grand adventures, any adventure set here will ensure that you'll be adventuring on a scale equal to those characters at your own table. Of course, heroes in Faerun need even more options to choose from, and that's where these new subclasses come in.
Bard – College Of The Moon
If you're having druid flashbacks, it's because you're probably familiar with the Circle of the Moon subclass of druids of similar origin.
Rooted in the same druidic practices of the Moonshae Isles, this bard college draws upon that primordial power and fey magic to cast their spells.
You get the usual choice of an additional skill available in the subclass option and gain knowledge in it. You also get access to the following functions:

Cleric – Domain of Knowledge
You may remember this domain from the 2014 Player's Handbook. The knowledge domain cleric returns with some changes to how it works, giving new options to the class and tweaking old features.
These priests spend their days studying everything from stories and history to art to arcane magic. They are usually found in libraries, colleges and other educational institutions.
In addition to specific Domain spellsyou will win knowledge of Artisans Tools and two additional skills you come too acquire expertise You also get the following features:

Fighter – The Banner
As you would expect from a fighter, the Banner subclass represents a character of justice, bravery and skill. There are several areas across Faerun where you will find Banneret warriors that can come from and known armies that they can command in those areas.
As a Banneret you will gain proficiency in a skillget one additional languagesand can learn other languages you have seen within a certain time frame. You will also be able to cast Comprehend Languages for free, but only as a ritual spell. You also get the following features:

Paladin – Oath Of The Noble Genies
Paladins familiar with the Elemental Plane can take the Oath of the Noble Spirits to draw power from various types of spirits. They will master the elements by drawing power from each of the spirits.
You will gain Genie-centric spells, proficiency in a specific skill, and a base armor class when not wearing armor. You also get the following features:

Ranger – Winter Walker
Icewind Dale is home to the Winter Walker Ranger. These rangers grow up in and constantly work in the frozen lands there, and have fully adapted to the climate.
Winter Walker rangers have Resistance to cold damage, ignore resistance to cold damage for enemies and cause additional cold damage. Your Hunter's Mark gives you temporary hit pointswhich prevents the enemy from being able to take the Disengage action.

Rogue – Scion Of The Three
Baldur's Gate 3 players will be familiar with the Dead Three, Bane, Bhaal and Myrkul. You can now play as a villain devoted to the Dead Three, drawing your power from these gods of tyranny, violence and murder.
When taking this subclass, if you see one Bloody enemy within 30 feet that has taken damage, you can magically teleport to them and make a melee attackpotentially dealing the death blow. You win too resistance to a damage type associated with the god of your choice and a cantrip to throw

Sorcerers – Spellfire Sorcery
Taking power directly from the loom, Spellfire Sorcery allows wizards to manifest the rare spellfire that allows them to heal allies and decimate enemies in kind.

Wizard – Bladesinger
The Bladesinger wizard makes a return after being missing from the 2014 Player's Handbook, continuing his old elven tradition created and learned centuries ago. The new Bladesinger has some significant differences from the original, with Bladesinging at its center.
When Bladesinging is active, you can gain an AC and speed bonus and Advantage with acrobatics controls. You can also use your Intelligence modifier for attack and damage rolls instead of Strength or Dexterity, and get to add your Intelligence modifier when save for concentration on a spell.
