Given the sheer number of wacky and wonderful individuals occupying One Piece world, being an extroverted character who enjoys socializing with others as much as possible can be an advantageous personality trait. There have been many characters in it One Piece who can be considered extroverts for how loud, expressive and sociable they can be, although this can also have some drawbacks.

Sometimes these characters will reveal a little too much information to the enemy, but it can also make them a little annoying to others. But when all is said and done, it's far from an extroverted thing, and it can ultimately make a character very endearing to watch and follow along for the ride.

8 Ultimate

Has more energy than she knows what to do with

While the other members of Kaidos Tobiroppo come across as quiet and mysterious characters, Ulti is the complete opposite, always shouting her voice off and making sure she's the center of attention. Mostly, this comes at the annoyance of her brother, Page One, who is always on the receiving end of her insults.

Ulti doesn't even stop ranting when she encounters a new opponent, as shown when she can be seen belittling Nami during their confrontation in the third act of the Wano arc. Ulti constantly feels like she has more energy than she knows what to do with, resulting in her being a very loud and extroverted member of Tobiroppo's crew.

Despite a lonely childhood, Sanji became an extrovert thanks to his time as a chef

Despite being the lone outcast of his family when he was younger, Sanji grew up to be a very funny and sociable individual who always brings a lot of joy to the Straw Hat team. Sanji's outgoing personality makes a lot of sense considering he was a chef for many years and would have interacted with hundreds, even thousands of customers during his time at Baratie.

There have also been times when Sanji will speak loudly when he probably shouldn't, especially when around attractive women. Instead of letting his tragic childhood force him into isolation, Sanji decided to embrace his newfound friends who are always there to support him on his journey to reach One Piece.

6 Queen

Always needs to be the center of attention

The Queen and King, Kaido's two right-hand men, are complete opposites in terms of personality. While King is the quiet, stoic type, Queen is a character who craves attention, which is shown when he puts on an entire performance at Onigashima where he can be seen pulling a few moves on stage for all to admire.

During said performance, all of Kaido's soldiers seem to be in love with Queen, indicating that he's the kind of guy whose infectious charisma makes everyone want to be around him. The amount of conversation he makes throughout the Wano arc also suggests that he loves the sound of his own voice and rarely closes his mouth when on screen.

5 Big mom

Loves nothing more than planning big get-togethers with her large family

Unlike her fellow Yonko, Kaido, who can often be seen drinking away her sorrows by her lonesome, Big Mom is always surrounded by people – or to be more specific, her Homies. Even when she's sleeping or digging into yet another giant cake, there will always be animate inanimate objects flying around her, or she'll be accompanied by one of her many children who make up her crew.

As seen in the Whole Cake Island arc, Big Mom also enjoys organizing large and elaborate events for her and her family to enjoy together. Of course, that arc also showed that ruining these kinds of gatherings, and especially taking away the food part, can turn her into a mad giant, but Big Mom still comes across as a huge extrovert from what fans have been able to see of her.

4 Donquixote Doflamingo

Extroverted villain who always says whatever pops into his sick and twisted mind

Cocky, brash, and rude, Doflamingo is a character who rarely ever thinks before he speaks, and as a result, ends up expressing himself many times over the course of the story. When he's not giving loud and obnoxious speeches about the state of the world for all to hear, Doflamingo enjoys spending time with his new family and belittling the people of Dressrosa who are forced to serve under him.

Many fans of One Piece will draw comparisons between Doflamingo and Crocodile, but while the latter is a more withdrawn and secretive individual, Doflamingo always tries to make his presence known, as evidenced by his flashy dress sense. The fact that Doffy has been locked in an Impel Down cell with seemingly no one to talk to must be killing him inside given his outgoing personality.

3 Gate gas D. Ace

As much of a fun-loving people as his younger brother

While Ace only makes a few physical appearances throughout One Piece story, it's made quite clear that during his adventures the former Whitebeard crew member was just as outgoing as his younger brother. Ace devoted himself to the Whitebeard “family”, always seen hanging out with his allies – and even hunting Blackbeard for turning his back on the crew.

Ace's more outgoing nature is also mentioned by other characters that Luffy stumbles upon in the story, such as Otama, for example, who explains that she had met Ace even before the Straw Hats came to Wano. It's unfortunate that Ace never got a chance to interact with the Straw Hats for very long due to his sudden passing, because being such a person would have made him a fun character to join Sunny every now and then.

2 Goal. D Roger

The legendary pirate could always be seen having a good time with his crew – and his enemies

Whenever Gol D. Roger appears in a flashback, he can always be seen having a good time with his crewmates – or sometimes even his enemies. The legendary pirate seemed to love nothing more than drinking and singing happy pirate songs aboard his ship, but he would also interact with all the places he came across on his journey as well, and he even sat down to talk to Whitebeard a few times .

He is also shown to be a character who always says whatever is on his mind, no matter how inappropriate or random it may be, which is uncannily similar to Luffy. From the little glimpses of Roger's past that have been shown, there's no doubt that it would have been great to be on his ship, given how much he loved to socialize.

1 Monkey D. Luffy

The excitable and outgoing captain of the Straw Hat crew is rarely ever seen alone

Luffy is one of the most extroverted shōnen protagonists ever created, and as a result has made literally hundreds of friends during his many escapades with the crew. Luffy has the unique ability to befriend pretty much anyone he comes across – of course, as long as they're not a good-for-nothing villain. He is easily excitable and loves to be around his fellow nakama as much as possible, to the point where it is virtually impossible to ever see him alone.

Luffy is also the type of character whose boundless energy will always see him leap into action straight away, rather than ever feeling anxious or worried about the consequences. All of this makes for a very outgoing and gregarious captain who has been an absolute joy to watch since he first appeared in the series.
