Destiny 2 Players Can Solo AFK Farm a Dungeon Boss

Destiny 2 players can now easily farm one of the most annoying Dungeon bosses in the game completely solo and AFK. Destiny 2s sudden and unceremonious death was announced on May 21, stating that the game would receive a final update on June 9, called Monument of Triumph, and halt all development thereafter. Developers at Bungie tried their best to deliver a great experience for both new and veteran players, and they dramatically improved every aspect of the game, while giving fans plenty of room to make all the builds they wanted.

In fact, a big reason why the update feels so refreshing despite marking the end of the game is that it breathed new life into all the destinations with new armor sets and weapon perk pools, while also giving players more artifacts to choose from. There are seven artifacts in it Destiny 2's Monument of Triumph update, each with unique perks that can be used for construction. Not only that, but each element received new tools, such as a new Aspect for Solar Titan, Void Warlock, and Void Hunter, and a new grenade for both Stasis and Strand.

Destiny 2 players can solo single-phase doctrine boss AFK with an ability

Destiny 2 player ItsNotSoar shared a post on Twitter showing how anyone can farm the Zoetic Lockset boss solo AFK in the Sundered Doctrine Dungeon with a Solar Warlock. This can be done by using the Dawn Chorus Exotic, Incinerator Snap, Ember of Char, Ember of Ashes, and the Solar Fulmination mod from the Hunter's Journal Artifact. This combination creates a chain of ignitions that provoke the boom, ignite the nearby part of the lockset via multiple sear applications, then ignite and repeat the process in reverse. Players can achieve this by using the Incinerator Snap on the far left set of locks, then take cover behind a wall and wait for the infinite ignitions to single-phase the boss.

In the video, ItsNotSoar has two teammates, but as they said in a comment, they're “mostly along for the ride” and the boss is doable completely solo. Damage can come players' way even if they hide, but Solar Warlock has access to Healing Grenade, Healing Rift, and Song of Flame Super to get a whopping 90% damage resistance. As such, once the Incinerator Snap is cast and ignitions start going off, players can simply watch the screen and sometimes heal if needed. Solar Warlock is very strong in the current state of the game, and it can also solo Destiny 2's Last Wish Raid's Riven, then switching to Void for solo Queenswalk as well.

The Zoetic Lockset has some of the best loot in Destiny 2's Sundered Doctrine Dungeon, allowing players to repeatedly farm Unloved, Unsworn, and Unvoiced, as well as the helm, arms, and legs from the Sundered Doctrine armor. All three weapons are very good, and Unloved and Unsworn in particular are some of the best in the game in their respective categories.

It's worth noting that the clip is from this week, when Sundered Doctrine is shown. This means players can farm in T5 armor Destiny 2 easy, while they need Master difficulty to achieve the same when the dungeon is out of rotation. Even then, the primary appeal is getting good weapons, and even when T3 drops, they can be upgraded with Ascendant Alloy, while the same is not true of armor.
