Over the years, Eiichiro Oda has delivered quite a few incredible transformations One Pieceand as expected, the vast majority of them have surrounded the Straw Hat Pirates. This doesn't come as a surprise to any fan, given that the Straw Hat Pirates are main characters in the series.
However, there are other incredible transformations that we've seen in the series as well, and these transformations are often overshadowed because the Straw Hat Pirates are simply so overwhelmingly popular, especially with their new powers and transformations. That said, these other transformations are incredible in their own ways, and while some of them are pretty average, others have proven to be some of the very best in the entire series.

In the Egghead Island arc of One Piece, fans got to witness quite a few incredible transformations, and Lucci's Awakened Zoan Transformation was certainly one of them. Lucci is a user of Neko Neko no Mi, model: Leopard.
With his intellect, he was able to take this Devil Fruit beyond all limits and awaken it. This awakening was on full display in the Egghead Island arc, where he displayed an incredibly powerful form in his fight against Luffy. He later used the transformation once more in his fight against Zoro, and it proved to be strong enough to hold the Straw Hat fighter to a near draw.

Sulong is a special transformation only available to the Mink Tribe of the One Piece world. When there is a full moon, the minks simply need to make eye contact with the moon, and they then undergo this incredibly majestic transformation that glows with electricity and is completely white.
They grow in size, and their hair, clothing, and other animal characteristics grow out as well. Their ability to use electro has been raised to a great extent, and their physical attributes receive a massive boost. The Sulong transformation is absolutely incredible, and any mink who can control this form gains an incredible power boost during the full moon.

One of the Emperors of the Sea, Big Mom is quite a powerful villain that fans have seen a lot of in One Piece. In the Wano Country Arc, fans got to see her fight her biggest fight, and this came against Trafalgar Law and Eustass Kid.
Big Mom displayed a unique transformation when fighting them, and she accessed this by consuming her own lifespan. By sacrificing a year of her own life, Big Mom was able to grow enormously in size and gain much more power. Although this transformation was simple, it proved to be incredibly effective.

The Raid Suit transformation is truly an incredible one that is different from the vast majority of One Piece transformations. This is because Raid Suits are worn instead of offering a transformation that sees the use of a Devil Fruit. Only the members of the Vinsmoke family have access to these specialized raid suits, and they can access them because they are genetically encoded for each individual they belong to.
Once accessed, the Raid Suit then covers their entire bodies, giving them incredibly heightened physical powers and things like powerful shields and, of course, resistance to fire. They also gain the ability to fly and incredibly high-speed movements that most people can't even see.

Yamato was introduced to fans in the Wano Country arc and has since won the hearts of fans. Of course, being Kaido's child, Yamato was sure to be a powerful individual, and this was proven in the Onigashima War. Yamato was seen gaining access to a unique transformation, thanks to the Devil Fruit of the Okuchi no Makami, which was a mythical Zoan Dog Dog Fruit model that they consumed as children.
This Devil Fruit gave Yamato the ability to transform into a protective deity wolf and its hybrid at will. Yamato also gains the power to manipulate ice with this Devil Fruit, making it incredibly effective in battle.

The former first division commander of the Whitebeard Pirates, Marco, possesses what can be considered the most majestic Devil Fruit transformation in One Piece. Marco is a user of the Phoenix fruit, and this transformation is absolutely amazing, no matter how fans look at it.
As the name suggests, it allows Marco to transform into a Phoenix as well as a Phoenix-human hybrid at will. Marco can also manifest the blue flames of resurrection all over his body, which are overpowered as they heal any damage he takes. When it comes to combat, Marco gains increased physical abilities and the power to heal from injuries as long as his stamina is up.

Quite simply, one of the scariest transformations fans have seen in One Piece comes through the five elders. From the 5th, Saturn was first revealed to have Gyuki's power in the Egghead arc. This turned out to be quite a terrifying form and definitely one of One Piece's best transformations.
Shortly after, other older forms were also revealed to us, and they all proved to be incredibly overpowered, while also being amazing to look at.

First revealed in One Piece Chapter 1175, Loki's Nidhoggr form is incredibly powerful. He ate the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Nidhoggr, 14 years ago, and this Devil Fruit is considered legendary, as it offers the power of Elbaf's God of War. Nidhoggr is the largest dragon that exists in the world of One Piece, with pitch black color and the ability to spit lightning.
The power of Nidhoggr is such that it has the potential to destroy the entire world. In the Elbaf arc, we saw Loki battle Nerona Imu with the power of his Nidhoggr fruit, and needless to say, this ability proved incredibly terrifying in battle. Loki was able to harness powerful abilities like Thorheim, among others, some of which even injured the King of the World.

Nerona Imu's Akuma Transformation

By far the best non-Straw Hat transformation we've seen in One Piece is Nerona Imu's Akuma no Mi form. This transformation officially debuted in One Piece Chapter 1179, and immediately after, its powers were shown to us. With her powers, Imu can manipulate the Black Flames of Omen and deal deadly damage to her enemies.
More than that, Imu also has the ability to change shape in this form and use multiple weapon based attacks. This is by far the most versatile One Piece transformation we've seen, and even including straw hats, it certainly ranks among some of the best.
