The strongest attacks of the main heroes, ranked

As of the end of the Super Hero arc, the main roster of heroes for Dragon Ball franchise has finally been cemented for history to come. Due to their unprecedented new transformations, Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Broly and Piccolo are now the strongest figures in all of Universe 7 and have become its greatest protectors.

As such, along with their powerful new states, the heroes have definitely added to their arsenals as well, sporting stunning and overpowered techniques that definitely increase their overall strength.

Orange Piccolo is the special beam cannon master

Orange Piccolo goes down as one of the most beloved transformations of them all. While the form itself is pretty cool, the real reason fans are embracing it so much is because it finally brings Piccolo, a fan-favorite hero, back to the forefront of the series as one of its main fighters.

He used this powerful new form against the Gamma Androids and Cell Max, showing exactly why it is so strong and on par with the Saiyan's strongest state. Unfortunately, fans never really got around to his strongest attack, but judging by most of Piccolo's power-ups, his strongest attack in this form is likely the Special Beam Cannon as well, which was also confirmed in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero video game.

Broly can refine the giant omega storm technique

Debut Arc: Broly Arc

When Broly made his canon debut in the franchise, his strength was shown to be immense, to the point where he was able to surpass Goku and Vegeta's Super Saiyan Blue states in their first ever real fight. Even though he lost his mind in his full form, his strength was enough to even stand against Gogeta, albeit very briefly.

In his ultimate form, Broly used an attack called Gigantic Omegastorm, which collided with Gogeta's Kamehameha. These two attacks were so strong that together they broke the dimensional barrier and sent both characters to a completely different plane of reality. Now, with Broly finally gaining control of his powers, this move is pretty much confirmed to become stronger and even more refined alongside the Saiyan himself.

Perfected Ultra Instinct Goku's giant form is incredible

Goku was the first of the main characters to unlock a powerful new transformation that went against what fans had come to expect from typical Saiyan forms. With Ultra Instinct, he awakened the legendary technique of the Angels of the multiverse, with which he used his incredible Spirit Avatar.

Essentially, this avatar is an outward manifestation of the energy that Goku receives from others, quite similar to how a Spirit Bomb works. But instead of an offensive attack, Goku forms something akin to a mech made of spiritual energy that can do whatever he wants, ranging from offensive attacks to even defensive moves, making the Spirit Avatar one of Dragon Ball's most overwhelmed techniques.

Gohan Beast's Special Beam Cannon is the strongest ever

Although this legendary technique is an invention of Piccolo, the strongest iteration of the Special Beam Cannon came from the hands of Gohan in his newly awakened Beast form. In this state, Gohan sits comfortably within the ranks of the most powerful characters in all of history matching Ultra Instinct Goku and Ultra Ego Vegeta.

In his many transformations throughout the series, Gohan has usually reserved a powerful variation of the Kamehameha as his most powerful attack. However, in his strongest form, Gohan uses his teacher's ultimate attack, delivering unprecedented piercing damage that proved strong enough to kill a terrifying villain like Cell Max in a single hit. While this may be the strongest attack from an offensive standpoint, the fact that it needs to charge up for a very long time lets it down.

Beerus Ball uses Ultra Ego Vegeta's Energy Of Destruction

Debut Arc: Granolah the Survivor Arc

Once Vegeta abandoned the need to hunt down Goku and his Ultra Instinct form, he allowed himself to become stronger solely to push his own limits, which ultimately proved to be the correct decision as it forced him to awaken Ultra Ego, which is the form of the Destroyers that allowed him to not only harbor the energy of destruction, but also surpass Goku.

In this state, he fought Granolah and was initially much stronger than him, which in itself is quite a feat since Granolah not only one-shot Mastered Ultra Instinct Goku, but was also the strongest in the universe. Infusing his attack with the energy of destruction, he made a massive ball of Ki that could destroy anything in its path, and the only reason it was overpowered was because Granolah was forced to unlock an even stronger form. While Gohan's Special Beam Cannon would likely overpower Beerus Ball as well, it would only be able to do so after a long charge, ultimately making Vegeta's technique better.
