All Devil Fruits produce some form of ability; however, not all of these abilities are equal. In the world of One PieceDevil Fruits can also provide immense firepower. Some of the very strongest fruits in the world of One Piece provide power so great that the user can basically destroy entire islands with remarkable ease. They are the most destructive Devil Fruits and are often wielded by the highest levels in the One Piece world.

Goro Goro no Mi

Goro Goro no Mi is a Logia-type Devil Fruit currently owned by Enel. This Devil Fruit translates to Rumble Rumble Fruit, and simply put, it allows one to transform into, create, and control lightning. Enel showed in the Skypiea Arc how terrifying this Devil Fruit can be, even though he is not the strongest character out there.

Enel's Raigo ability was strong enough to one shot the vast majority of his enemies, and he showed that he could dish out 200 million volts effortlessly. Not only that, but Enel is one of the few characters who canonically has already destroyed an island and this came without even having to awaken his Devil Fruit. An awakened Goro Goro no Mi could even potentially destroy the entire world.

Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika

• Type: Mythical Zoan

Luffy's Devil Fruit, previously thought to be Gomu Gomu no Mi, was revealed in Wano to be a mythical zoan known as Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika. When awakened, this Devil Fruit allows Luffy to transform into the sun god Nika. The sun god Nika is known as a savior but he is also believed to be a destroyer.

Through his fight with Kaido, Luffy has shown the potential to easily destroy an entire island. Giant Luffy can reach an incredible size, so with his Gear 5, he can even destroy an entire island. His strongest technique, the Bajrang Gun, is so massive that all of Onigashima would have been crushed by it if the first one connected. Luffy is more than capable of destroying entire islands.

Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu

• Type: Mythical Zoan

Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu was for a while considered the very best Devil Fruit around. It is a mythical zoan that allows its users, whether Kaido or Momonosuke, to transform into a massive eastern dragon. The dragon form of this Devil Fruit grants incredible powers, such as manipulating wind, lightning, and even fire breathing.

But its true island-destroying potential comes through the Drum Dragon transformation. In this transformation, Kaido engulfs himself in magma-like flames and he becomes about the size of Onigashima. Undoubtedly, Kaido's ultimate form can even destroy an island.

Gura Gura no Mi

• User: Whitebeard (former), Blackbeard

• Type: Paramecia

Gura Gura no Mi is a Paramecia-type devil fruit that was previously in the hands of the world's strongest man, Whitebeard. Since the War of the Summit, it was taken over by Blackbeard. Canonically, Gura Gura no Mi is a devil fruit that can destroy not only an island, but the entire world. Oda himself stated that in the story, and fans can quickly see why.

This Devil Fruit allows one to create earthquakes and tsunamis. By going all out or by awakening this Devil Fruit, its user can destroy everything with natural disasters. In that sense, its destructive potential is the greatest in all of history.

Yami Yami no Mi

• User: Blackbeard

• Type: Lodge

Yami Yami no mi is one of the most peculiar Logia Devil Fruits available. It was eaten by Blackbeard after being sought after by him for a long time. This Devil Fruit allows one to create and control darkness; however, unlike other Logias, the user cannot turn into darkness after consuming it. It also comes with another drawback, which takes double damage from attacks.

That being said, it is still the strongest Logia out there and one that can destroy an entire island. With Yami Yami no Mi's full potential unlocked, Blackbeard can destroy an entire island through his Black Hole ability. With Black Hole, Blackbeard has already shown enormous destructive potential. Whatever power this Devil Fruit would give when awakened would make it even more destructive, making it a fruit with the potential to destroy the entire world.

Magu Magu no Mi

Magu Magu no Mi is a Logia-type Devil Fruit owned by the current Fleet Admiral Akainu. This Devil Fruit is arguably one of the most destructive Logia types out there. It allows one to transform into, control and create magma, which, i One Pieceburns even hotter than fire. Akainu's magma can melt anything in its path.

On its own it's already pretty overpowered, but with a Devil Fruit Awakening it can destroy any island, as seen on Punk Hazard. Akainu turned half of Punk Hazard into a barren magma land that is basically uninhabitable. If he wanted to, he definitely could have destroyed the entire island.

Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Nidhoggr

Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Nidhoggr is one of the latest Devil Fruit reveals in the Elbaf arc. The Nidhoggr Devil Fruit is a mythical zoan that allows Loki to transform into a western dragon from Norse mythology. This Devil Fruit is extremely overpowered. As shown by Loki, this Devil Fruit allows the user to grow exponentially in size relative to their original size. In the hand of someone like Loki, an ancient giant who towers over most other characters, this fruit has insane destructive potential.

In his dragon form, Loki is massive and he can easily destroy most islands. Nidhoggr's full form not only offers massive size, but it also gives Loki some lightning powers.

Akuma no Mi

• User: Nerona Imu

• Type: Unknown

Imu's Devil Fruit is called Akuma no Mi, and this fruit was first revealed in One Piece chapter 1179. It is a special Zoan Fruit that allows Imu to transform into a Devil and manipulate black flames called Omen or Maki, which have both defensive and offensive abilities of the highest order. Some of the abilities displayed by Imu include the power to turn enemies into slave demons via Domi Reversi, the power to use magic-like abilities, and the ability to form alliances with his subordinates.

With all this in mind, Imu can undoubtedly destroy an island. Imu can easily enslave all the inhabitants of an island and rid it of the map. Of course, so far Imu has only shown fans a glimpse of his true potential with the devil fruit. The true potential of Imu's mysterious Devil Fruit only comes later.
