As of the release of the Regal Update, there are 20 characters in the Ball x Pitalthough players will only have access to one of them when they start. However, as they complete more of the game's eight stages, they will begin to find special blueprints that will allow them to build new structures back in New Ballbylon.
All Evolutions in Ball x Pit (Ultimate Evolution Guide)
Once players figure out how to get all the Evolutions in Ball x Pit, they will have 68 unique balls at their disposal.
Building certain buildings will unlock new characters, which can really help freshen up the experience. Unlike the standard character, all unlockable Ball x Pit characters offer unique gameplay features, such as being able to choose the player's upgrades for them, or even playing the entire scene automatically.
How to unlock all 20 Ball x Pit characters
As mentioned above, new Ball x Pit characters are unlocked by find special drawings and then build their respective structures. However, it is important to note that simply placing the structure is not enough to unlock the character. Players will need to construct it by having their townspeople crash into it in harvest mode. Blueprints are acquired by completing stages, and as far as we can tell, the order in which new characters are unlocked is fixed. Players should unlock most of them just by playing through the game, although they may need to do some grinding after completing it to get the last ones.

How to unlock all Ball x Pit stages
To unlock new ones Ball x Pit stages players will need earn gear to upgrade the elevator. They will get a gear every time they complete a stage with a new character, meaning they have to complete each stage multiple times to get to the end of the game. Thankfully, after completing the initial stages, they'll unlock the Matchmaker Blueprint, which lets them bring two characters into a scene. Assuming none of those they choose have completed it before, they will get two gears when they finish, which can make it much easier to get the four and five gears needed for the latest elevator upgrades.
